I traveled 1400 miles with this cover on my bass boat. From N. of Seattle to Fort Mohave Az. The only time i drove the speed limit was going thru small towns…did the freeway at 75 to 85…Here's a tip; make sure you go over the bow by 18” or more. Use clothes line if need be. The key is not to let the air in under the cover as much as possible….its been 3 years out in the scorching sun and it is holding up just fine….
5 stars. When I bought this online I was a little worried that this wouldn't be wide or long enough to cover my boat. I have it under a carport, but leaves, rain, dirt, and dust will blow into the boat on windy days. I was pleasantly surprised when not only did it cover the boat, but most of the motor as well as far down on both sides. My 600 Denier is completely waterproof so it keeps everything out. Wish I had bought this sooner. Very happy.
Bought my first boat cover via Budge. Came within specified time and was of excellent quality and amazing price. I had a small issue with area of the cover and without hesitation, they made it right. I would definitely buy another product from them when needed. Can't go wrong with this company based on their price, quality of product and CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Good value and a nice fit!
My boat cover was delivered quickly. It unpacked easily and I found it to be easy to use. I am impressed by overall quality. I am only giving it four stars because I do not yet know how it will stand up against the Arizona sunshine. If it lasts as long as I hope it does (four or five years), it will have earned five stars.
I bought this cover for my 17.5 open bow. It was recommended by the company search form. It does fit well now to stern, but the stretch cord can get all the way around due to the height of the windshield. The straps hold it down on, but perhaps I should have gotten a bit larger one. Its ok however.
I would have given 5 , but the only reason why I didn't. The cover itself does cover my boat well, it has a few areas that are left with excess material. It will do the job , but I doubt I'll be using it while transporting it. Still overall satisfied
The description clearly states that the cover only comes in two colors: blue and gray. I ordered the gray one since the blue one was out of stock, and was my first choice since our boat is blue and white. But the gray would be alright too since our old cover is gray. When the cover arrived, we were shocked to see that it is a light beige and does not compliment the color of our boat at all. However, we have begun a rainy season, our old cover has a couple of holes in it, and is soon going into winter weather to be winterized for the winter. So returning it now would take too long for the turn around, so we pretty much do not have a choice but to use it. We are requesting a $40 partial refund which is about the difference between the blue (that is out of stock) and the beige one (which we did not know was a choice since it is not listed, and would not have been chosen but probably another name brand with equal quality but in a color that compliments our boat.
I ordered one of these covers and found that it didn't cover the stock bow rails on my antique 1973 Grady White Sportsman. This boat was built from the early 70s for 15 years or so, with only slight variations in dimensions. Not anything that would make a cover not fit. But the one that supposedly fit didn't even come close to covering the bow. The stern was fine. So I sent it back and ordered the next size up. That one came in and it seems to have been designed for the same boat as the other with a 3 foot bow pulpet, so now I have the same lack of fit in the bow beam, and some extra hanging off the front like a tongue. It's good material and I'm just going to keep it because I don't have time or energy to send it back, wait for a refund and figure out where to buy one that fits. I may just cut it to fit as a custom cover and attach snaps to keep it in place on the stock cover attachment places. The material is very heavy duty and would likely be great for a custom cover. It seems their covers are cut for lake boats, not ocean fishing boats that are more beamy at the bow.
Seems to be a decent cover, but it does not have a reinforced nose cone to hold it on the bow. I will be returning
