How to Entertain and Teach a Grandchild
Separating coins was a fun way to help my grandchild learn addition and multiplication. Now we know how many nickels it takes for $2, dimes it takes for $5, and how many quarters for $10. We put coins in stacks of ten in rows as a way to 'visually' learn addition and multiplication. Then putting them into these pre-formed coin rolls was easy for both child and gramma!
