came with all cords and a software disk. the sofware on the disk is dated so you will need to upgrade but you can still use all the software on the disk. easy to use plugs into laptops and desktop computers. runs kinda silent.worth the price

A good writer and likely a durable one
I have three earlier models and it seem just as dependable as them. Those ones do get steady workloads at times and they haven't fail yet. I just wanted another one to have on hand, writing, for a lesser wait time for things that I also wanted at the same time. Note: I don't burn faster than 4x with them and the the stock image isn't what the product looks like. The unit is powered by a power pack and it is not a small portable unit.

Doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
Doesn't play blu-ray movies. The company is not at all helpful. Pass on this item (and brand)! I'll never buy anything else from this company.
