To remove it cleanly from the bag, cut a corner of the bag off, and in a non windy area such as your garage, pour into a glass jar using a funnel. I used an IKEA jar but I think it would fit into a 1 quart glass jar. I added up the teaspoons and it was a little bit over so I played it safe and used the IKEA jar.

The product is excellent quality but the packaging leaves much to be desired. It was vacuum sealed and cost effective, as well as environmentally friendly for shipping. When I opened the bag, charcoal everywhere leading to product loss was discouraging, not to mention the cleanup (my kitchen looked like an FBI fingerprint training room). lol Just be careful when opening the package.

messey as soon as you open it black dust is everywhere. hard to clean up
