If you are in your 40s you might want to consider taking creatine. Creatine helps support muscle recovery and function, which is critical for people in their 40's in order to build strength. This particular creatine is a nonflavored powder. They also make a flavored version. The powder dissolves really well in water, although I like to add creatine to propel to get electolytes at the same time. Only 2 teaspoons are needed to get 5 grams of creatine, so this package will last a long time.
I've been using BulkSupplements.com Creatine Monohydrate for years, and it remains a staple in my routine. As a dedicated weightlifter, high-quality, efficaciously dosed creatine is essential for performance. Recently, the emerging research on creatine's cognitive benefits as we age has made taking it daily even more important to me. BulkSupplements makes it simple and incredibly affordable to keep this scientifically backed supplement in my everyday regimen. Highly recommend!
I bought this to supplement for working out. The powder is tasteless, however it did have a distinct "fishy" smell when I opened it up. In cold water it seemed to settle out quickly or not really dissolve completely. Same with supplementing a dairy based protein shake. I just add water to the empty container and get the rest of it in a last gulp. Just started, so I cannot comment on impact, but I'm hopeful it'll add energy and endurance to my lifting days and running days. If there is a con, there isn't a scoop and the 2 tap or about 5 grams is kind of a guess if you don't weight it out on a scale.
The 425 g creatine monohydrate arrives in a Ziploc style resealable bag. It shouldn't really matter what brand of creatine you buy since they are almost like a commodity. One thing I note is I wish it came in some kind of plastic jar with a scoop because it's so much easier to use that way. I note that since this is a bulk pack, that's probably why it doesn't come with a scoop. Besides, if you're taking creatine, you've probably purchased it before and already have the scoop. I liked that it came with good directions on dosage and getting started with usage. I note that there is some tape on the bag that's from where I accidentally cut it open when I opened the box that it came in.
Delivery was super fast, arrived securely packaged with no hassle. I am familiar with bulk supplements brand. In the past I purchased their 'Organic Inulin' and 'Potassium Chloride' powders). All A quality. We trust the brand so, we were excited to also try their Creatine Monohydrate. This is a high quality brand manufactured with no fillers, artificial sweeteners or other questionable ingredients. For those who care what they put in their body, this product meets, if not exceeds all expected quality standards. It's pure and mixes into any drink easily with no noticeable aftertaste or gritty residue at the bottom of your cup. Bulksupplements has earned their reputation as a premium source for high quality products at bulk priced savings. For elders like myself, creatine is helpful in maintaining muscle, strength and benefits, bone health, energy and cognitive function with routine exercise (preferably in conjunction with resistance training). My son is an on-the-go vitamin supplement aficionado and highly recommends using creatine as a daily supplement. The major drawback is the bag. Sometimes it doesn't seal well. I've found that's usually resolved by placing the bag into a larger re-sealable bag, or storing in an air tight jar.
I've been using products from Bulk Supplements for years now, and I've always been satisfied with the quality and the price. So when a personal trainer friend suggested I start using creatine, of course I wanted to get it from a company I trust. The loading phase started today and I'm feeling good about it. I've only ever had positive and noticable results from Bulk Supplements products, and I'm sure this will also be a top-notch experience.
This creatine powder mixes easily into my drinks without a gritty texture or strong taste. I appreciate that it is pure, micronized creatine and NSF Certified for Sport®, which gives me extra confidence in the quality. The large container is a great value and should last a while.
I've used BulkSupplements creatine off and on for a few years and I've never had any issues. I only do 5g a day with my breakfast. I mix it with a smoothie because unflavored creatine doesn't taste good on its own. I've tried it alone with water and it's gritty and bland. This is a cost-effective and healthy creatine that I will continue to buy. I think it's a great product for weightlifting and it seems research keeps coming out with other health benefits.
Over years, BulkSupplements has become one of my favorite brands. Creatine Monohydrate Powder from BulkSupplements does not disappoint. It mixes well and dissolves quickly, does not have a strong taste or smell to it, and provides great value. Walmart.com frequently has better pricing compared to buying directly from BulkSupplements.
This creatine is great! This is probably one of the most cost-efficient products you can buy. It comes in a zip-lock bag instead of a container which probably helps cut the price down.
