I initially bought this because my family was suffering congestion during the cold and flu season, but I continued to use it during the allergy season and it worked for that as well. It has helped purging mucus from both sinuses and lungs. I typically use a quarter teaspoon in about 8 oz of hot water sweetened and flavored to taste.

I love it. It blends nicely in honey for a great smooth spoonful.
