I use this powder to make a tea every morning, with the intention that its anti microbial/anti inflammatory/ antioxidant/antihistamine properties would help carry me through the winter and upcoming allergy season without getting sick. I did not realize how this powder was an antibiotic, also known as Berberine and can be used for staph and E. coli infections on the skin or in the digestive tract. This is good to have on hand in the case of emergency. Plus, daily consumption of Berberine helps keep a clean digestive tract.

I've had allergies and congestion for as long as I can recall (I'm 50 y.o.); and breathing clearly out of both sides of my nose was something that was unusual for me. That is the truth! Often at night I would end up breathing through my mouth, and wake with a dry mouth or sore throat, and that was normal for a long time. UNTIL . . . A wholestic homeopathic Medical person on YT suggested Goldenseal Root Powder (GSP) as a treatment, of sorts. On the first day, I was able to input small amounts into my nostrils twice in one day, and I noticed a real difference within an hour, and that ability to breath through my nose has lasted the better part of 4-5 days - and that was with ONLY two 'treatments' of 'placing' the GSP in the easily accisible areas of my nose. My next attempt will be to 'breath in / snort' small amounts (we are talking about 1/16 of a teaspoon or less) up the nasal pasage. Bottom line: I have been breathing better after two minimal placements of GSP into my nostrils. 250mg bag is going to last a VERY LONG TIME.

I had no idea How soon I would need this golden seal. An infection has been knocked into the dirt!

I really cannot rate this product. I have a health condition that prohibits me from using it. So because of this I can't really say yes or no . So the 3 rated was only to get to this step.

I am accustomed to golden yellow goldenseal root powder but this package was a very pale light green. I have never ever seen a goldenseal product like this before. I question the authenticity of this herbal root as the taste and smell seems off. I will not purchase it again.

This is not the real deal. Too much other ingredient. I'm used to no additives so it was not what I expected.

Neith Walmart of Bulksupplements tells you their Goldenseal is NOT pure Goldenseal it is cut with maltodextrin. That is a trick used by DRUG DEALERS!!! Disgraceful I knew it was cut when I held their goldenseal next to some pure goldenseal I had left. The I read the label. NOT PURE AT ALL111
