add 128 grams to a gallon of distilled water and 35 grams of baking soda then do 320 grams of the electrolyte mixture every 8 hours for the approximate RDI of potassium and sodium.
I got this for my diabetic cat. The vet was charging me $40 for just an ounce or two of it. So, this is a much better deal than buying it from the vet.
I made my own electrolyte powder with this
Great supplement. Mixed well with water and smoothies.
Great product!
I go through a lot of potassium gluconate. Usually buy it from Bulk Supplements and haven't had any issues. The bags are annoying and I wish it could deliver to my door but glad shipping is at least free. The products are great.
I purchased this to make my own Gatorade to drink when working in the yard at a fraction of the cost. The recipe is online.
Seems to work great. Completely tasteless in a sports drink. Zip bag sucks so I've gotta dock a star for that. It's not big enough and once it's opened and the contents settle, it's almost impossible to zip. Moved the contents to a gallon freezer bag.
I need more potassium so I bought this big bag which is a good deal. When you buy potassium in capsule form they are only 99mg and we need about 4000mg/day. I thought I could use this powder to put in water and drink it, but it tastes terrible to me. It also clumps and seems insoluble. I found the serving size info on the back confusing too. I'm a little scared of potassium and don't want to take too much at one time or drink all the clumps in the bottom of my water bottle. I asked customer service about the taste and the clumping. Customer service was automated and they said they do not test their products for solubility or taste. I did send it back opened and they gave me a full refund. I do like the company and have many other products from bulk supplements and use them daily.
