Great additive in glycerin/gelatin molds.
It was a better price for the quantity than any other retailers. I'm actually using it as an additive in mold making material. It does make the mold softer yet oddly stronger.

Gentle laxative
Learned about using sorbital as a gentle bowel movement stimulator from an MD many years ago. With all my geriatric medications, I often will become constipated for 3 to five days. A spoon of sorbitol in a glass of water gets the movement started very gently within hours. There are many other factors effecting bowel movements, but this one is quick and gentle for getting things started.

The BEST sugar substitute!
I've tried many non sugar sweeteners when baking meals or in anything that calls for sugar, and this Sorbitol powder is by far the best!
