Watercress is a very healthy food, it's also very spicy, so not everyone likes the taste and it also spoils quickly. This may be a good sub for fresh, only time will tell. I usually buy fresh watercress- when I can find it, but it doesn't stay fresh long %26 it's not cheap…so ended up wasting some of it. Found this dry, shelf stable version %26 gave it a try. Pros: shelf stable, handy. Re sealable package. Good nutritional value. Cons: has a bit of an odor( fresh watercress has a horseradish taste but no odor). It's not a real powder, sorta granules/ powder, so a bit difficult to get it to mix, say in a liquid without a powerful blender. All in all it is a good purchase because it has same nutritional value. As fresh watercress but a much longer shelf life making it handy.
