Had a pool installed in the back yard with a kitchen island with this gas grill. I love it, looks great and cooks like a champ.
Use it for all types of grilling from hamburgers and steaks to standing rib roasts.
I cook everything on this grill, specially steaks and ribs. Can't beat it!
Its a great grill, I love it and the night light too.
Received my order on the Bull Angus 30" a couple weeks ago and it was well packaged and protected. I was able to install it last weekend after a little work to widen the BBQ island. The grill heats up very fast and did a great job on some rib eye steaks . The next night I used the rotisserie with two 5 lbs chickens and they came out perfect! Very moist and delicious. Very happy so far and would highly recommend for a mid-level BBQ that is built to last.
I bought this same model Bull BBQ in 2009 when I lived in Temecula, CA and had my custom backyard done. I sold the house in early 2015 when I moved to the east coast and for the length of ownership it performed admirably. Not a single ounce of rust in or out. I used it weekly and cleaned it thoroughly every 2-3 months. I now live in Maryland and am looking at purchasing this model again due to its performance. The price is certainly higher than 2009 for the same model and I am comparing this one to the Lion L75000. Bull offers this same grill in a more bare-bones model, no lights, no rotisserie kit for several hundreds less if those features are not important to you. Overall, I recommend this grill to anyone looking to make a purchase that will last for years. During my years of ownership (6 yrs) nothing broke or stopped working so I never had to exercise the warranty. The Piezo igniters were still going strong after all that time with very similar spark. As long as the burners are cleaned and kept clog-free from falling grease, no issues on igniting.
We've had this for 12 yrs and have used it a lot but taken care of it cleaning wise. It works & looks as good as it did brand new. Build new custom home and will be installing another.
This BBQ performs well with routine cleaning. The finish still sparkles with routine liquid stainless polish a couple times annually. I bought it new in 2015 for a custom BBQ island in my backyard. My only drawback we cook lots of salmon, which has a lot of fat & oil dripping. I have to continually clean the flavorizer bars, to avoid flare ups, that otherwise would char the fish. Also, the burner grid is efficient and cooks evenly I'd say over 75-80% of the surface. Like most, it's not perfect, the first few inches of the grill are cooler than the rear back half. But it does cook fast, and the temperature is easily controlled, and maintained with the large clearly visible thermo Guage. I can read it from 25 feet away. I bought mine with matching cabinet doors, that are built into the brickwork, it's a tough looking set. Should last another decade with normal cleaning.
A lot of hot and cool spots. Left grill hot toward right and front cools off. Tried different regulator. Grills wear out after three years. For the money expected more.
After attempting to grill on my new Bull Angus multiple times and allowing it to preheat every time, I found that the grill simply doesn't get hot enough to cook food in some areas (the areas above the heat shields). To confirm, I used a calibrated thermocouple to measure the temperatures at various points in the grill (after 10 minutes preheat time). Temperatures above the shields measured around 400F, while temps elsewhere were >550F. The attached picture illustrates this using bread - bread above the heat shield was barely warm by the time bread between the shields burned.
