appears well made, plenty of room inside for my needs. i like the fact that you unlock it from the brace and it remains locked until you turn the key again. the spacers allowed me to mount it with the locking bar facing the mounting area. i think it would be harder to break into mounted this way. also you can remove it from the mounting area and carry it locked if needed. excellent function, price and it arrived quick. i would recommend this box for discrete placement of valuables.

Good safe for your car. Comes compete with a sturdy mounting bracket that completely surrounds the safe...would take a thief too much time to try to remove it. This is my second safe of this type, the other has a combination lock, good safe but I prefer the keyed version. Two thumbs up.

Nice little product. It fits my LC9 with laser just fine. Will be mounting the external housing to a hard point in my vehicle. The safe also gives the option to be utilize as a mobile safe by utilizing the provided cable. Will likely order another one.

Purchased this to mount in my POV for a quick and easy way temporarily lock up my pistol to transport to the gun range or conduct business with establishments that screen for weapons. It is not heavy duty, it will only stop an honest person from picking up the gun and gaining access. However, something is better than nothing it would slow an individual down long enough to cause them to be noticed. Wish I had bought 3 at the sale price but I wasn't sure of the quality then. Cool little solution, comes with two keys, simulated velvet liner.

Have not installed this safe as of yet, but I do like the sturdiness and features. This will be a multi use safe for transporting items you wouldn't want someone to have easy access to. I only did 4 stars as I can't comment on the installation process.

I like the small one but I also wanted the larger one so I had to order it from Amazon because SG only has the small one. I now have one for every Vehicle I own.also for Travel Trailer and truck camper.I just belive in keeping my guns safe with quick access.

It seems fairly solid. With the sleeve it should be resistant to prying open. It did require modification. The 'padded' liner on the bottom would catch on the lock, slight trim fixed it; also it would not let my Ruger P95 fit with the magazine installed. I trimmed the edges and it fits good. I may replace inner liner with self adhesive felt instead. Overall not bad for the price.

Mounted under my truck seat it should be hard to break into. Doesn't look too hard to get into if you use it without the sleeve. Great place to store valuables or a gun when I'm working and want to leave my truck unlocked but don't want to carry my wallet or guns.
