Bully Truck Universal Tailgate Net for Full-Sized Trucks

I had one of these on a truck when Bully first came out with these long ago. I used it for years when I did construction. I shaved weight and increased air flow. I did see a increase in mpg in my small pickup back then. I kept very strict milage logs for tax purposes. I quickly put this on my full size truck. It looks great and works well. I didn't notice any increase or decrease in MPG. They do make these even better than the old ones. There is a heavy duty nylon edging added to increase strength and the webbing is a rubber impregnated strapping. I have no doubt that this product will last years. I always recommend these to people with fifth wheels because they can secure loads and cut down on wind drag. Air hits the front of the campers and gets split. The air going down dumps into the truck bed and creates resistance. These Bully nets let that air flow through minimizing the resistance caused from the air that is deflected down into the bed.

I was leery of this and really doubted its capabilities, but I have an older truck that's missing its original tailgate and I pay close attention to the gas mileage it gets (and its a gas guzzler). This tailgate net really does make a difference in gas mileage, maybe not a miraculous amount, but truly seems to help by a few miles for sure. Its super heavy duty also to my surprise.

We transport a lot of items in my truck, and a lot of times it's big pieces of furniture. This is the perfect net for transporting items because it keeps them securely in place while traveling, it's able to expand and fit around items, and it doesn't scratch any items it's next to. The snare is heavy duty and it has extra wide reinforced edging. I have transported several different types of things including furniture, lawn equipment, food items, large boxes, etc. and this product has worked great for each one of these items. It allows for airflow so it also doesn't slow down your vehicle. It was easy to install and it fit securely and snuggly on my truck.

After getting our 5th wheel and removing the tailgate from the truck this was the most logical solution I could think of for hauling things in the bed without having to put the tailgate back on every time I wasn't connected to the trailer! Easy to install and serves it's purpose well! Looks good too! Thank you!

my 16 year old son has an older pickup and of course the tailgate is gone. He saw this and was ready to put it on immediately. The directions are very very easy and it went on just as the said. It fit perfectly and looks very nice. He is very pleased with it and i would definitely recommend this. It seems like it is well made and will last.

I received a sample to review. I got this for my husband to use on his tailgate of his truck. So far, so good and he likes it. It looks good and works nicely for its purpose as well. He had been wanting one of these for awhile now, and got it. It was easy to put into place.

This is a great idea and good to have handy, but the installation can be a bit tricky. The included screws are not great. Does seem to help with gas mileage somewhat. Also nice when you need to add longer items to the bed of the truck along with other things for projects, etc.

We got the Bully truckbed tailgate net for our truck and are pretty impressed. It comes with all the hardware to install it, which isn't too bad but honestly my husband didn't really want to have to put hardware on his truck at all that was not already there. Although the holes are minimal, it is something you have to make sure you get right. If you are really looking for a net for reduced drag or whatever the case may be, this would be a good one for you; however in our case we have never truly needed or wanted that. It is made of good quality material and sewn together very nicely. The straps are strong enough to be secure on the tailgate. It is a nice solid black so it goes with just about any color your truck is. I really do not see a true need for this, but some others may. I could recommend.

Great for the price. I needed a temporary solution for my tailgate while I build a custom one. The screws that come with the Bully net are NOT self tapping. They were pretty much useless and you won't be able to use them without drilling holes. Thankfully, I had some self tapping ones that worked easy. It worked on my 1990 Bronco, and will work on pretty much any medium - full size truck. It would work on a vehicle 2-3" narrower than my Bronco and about 10-12" bigger. The hardware is silver. I'm not sure why they aren't black. I'm not thrilled with the giant Bully thing in the center of the net but I can probably put a bumper sticker there or something. Overall, for $18, it is pretty nice. If it fades, it could be spray painted or replaced.

It's an excellent product, but unfortunately doesn't fit to my truck. I would have liked it to fit my truck because the material and design are really good. My truck has problems with the back door, it opens suddenly. This product would help keep things in place. But I could definitely recommend it. Looks great and it's very resistant
