It arrived well packaged and and was quick to put together. We can read the time from across the room, which we needed. Only thing that was a minor minus was the pendulum swings way too fast and is a bit unnerving to watch. The clock does not need the pendulum to work, so it can be left off.

I don't believe a man like FLW would have allowed his name in anyway to be associated with this product. Actually it's a foundation bearing his name. Anyway the supposedly higher quality Bulova is really a cheap movement that wasn't designed for this specifically for this clock. If is was the pendulum wouldn't operate at a speed that reminds me of a hyperactive dogs tail. The first reaction I got from friends was ""is it supposed to swing that fast"". The rest of the clock is just ok. The construction uses plexiglass, wood screws and such that don't justify the price. I received this as a gift and modified the pendulum enough to tolerate displaying it. Had I bought it myself it would have been a quick return. Way over priced.
