Looked for a very long time to find a battery operated clock that sounded real enough to me and not techno chimey. I found it with this clock. Keeps perfect time. I like the Westminster chimes on the quarter hour and on the hour. If that's too much for you, set it just for the hour. Adds a nice charm to any home. For what you pay for this is excellent value. Follow the instructions and dont be in a rush.

We love this clock. It keeps perfect time, we've only used the Westminster sound but the chime tone quality is excellent, doesn't sound like an electronic doorbell chime. I really like the auto silent feature. the clock is quiet at night and begins again at 6 am. I followed the instructions for setting the chimes initially, has been working perfectly!

The shipping and delivery was amazingly fast. The setup instructions were a little bit difficult for me but when I sat down with them and really studied them I got it. It was very simple the clock is very accurate I'm super pleased

The clock has a very pretty wooden case, had good instructions, was very easy to set, and has a quality Bulova clock with nice chimes and a pendulum all of which my wife wanted. We are very happy with it.

I love this clock! It is so pretty and fits in perfectly with the traditional decor in my living room. It is reasonably priced too. There is an switch to turn the chime on or off, but no volume control. It is loud enough to hear throughout the house but not obnoxiously so (you could always tape something over the back to muffle it if it is too loud). The Westminster chime does not count off the hour. At first I was disappointed but it actually keeps the chime short and unintrusive.

The only thing I disliked was the instructions. I think they were made more complicated than they needed to be. Could have been much more concise.

Very basic clock crafted with low quality materials. Keeps time well but chimes an hour off after many attempts to reset. Chimes are your generic computerized tones but clock has a pleasing look from across the room

I never get the clock to chime, and never got the and many other things to work. You have to take the clock off the wall to access everything.
