i love these little things. they keep my seeds tidy and don't allow the wind to take them away if i happen to be outside potting them up. plus there is no mess of any kind. over the season the disintegrate which is a win for the garden. Store some of theses, you will use them. they are that good and the growing little plants have a perfect root bed.

They are small (see photo for size comparison) but they really are "super growing." If you are filling the "Burpee SuperSeed 16 XL Cell Seed Starting Tray" it takes two pellets to fill each cell to a good level. Time will tell on the plant growth since the seeds just went in today.

I purchased these thinking they were the grow pockets. THEY ARE NOT. Each cell pellet expands and acts like seedling soil. Easy growing and sprouting starter! The convenience of each pellet allows me to create as much as needed by simply soaking in water and breaking it up. THIS IS FOR SEED STARTER.

These are the best pellets I have every used! They work really well for my indoor seedlings. I love the size, the simplicity of using them, and my seedlings germination rate is off the charts. I do use them with the Burpee Self-Watering trays, so that just adds less stress to the waiting time for the seedlings to sprout. Great product, great price!

What I had purchased before these was contained in individual material. The past purchase could be picked up at any stage and stay contained within the existing material

This product was supposed to be compatible with the Burpee Indoor Seeding Greenhouse with Heat Mat. Boy, was I wrong. None of the Super Growing Pellets fills any of the pods, it takes two Super Growing Pellets to fill a pod. So messy and so inconvenient to use indoors.

Nice, round compact coconut fiber cells look ok, fit in the jiffy green house tray. The problem is they are not encapsulated in any mesh or fiber and do not hold up to normal seed starting watering. Watering is a problem even with a spray bottle and they dry out fast. When you water them they immediately expand but it's all loose fiber in the cell tray. Makes it difficult to place seeds to receive light required for germination, they drop down into loose coconut fibers. And if you succeed in getting anything to germinate it's impossible to transplant them into their respective beds without damaging the delicate roots. I even tried using a spoon to scoop them out and try to keep the roots intact! It didn't work. Nothing like the soil cells at all which has a mesh or paper and is easy to keep watered and transplanted. Save your money on this. I ended up getting some sand and seed packets and mixed them up and planted directly onto the prepared soil in the bed and used the hose on mist a couple times a day to get them germinated. . I wanted to like them as they were the only cell pods available at the time. Now I know why. Just don't.

this is a joke. says to soak in warm water however there isnt a net of some sort to keep the pellets from turning into mush. avoid these. save your money and get a bag of potting soil because thats what they turn into. extremely tiny too. maybe a teaspoon each pellet
