This is supposed to grow well in the summer heat, I have some sprouts coming up in the GH am keeping my fingers crossed, but will plant more in the fall.

Early harvest
I grow these every year in my lettuce box. Start them outside in early spring. Quick growing and nice yield if you don't overcrowd them. Never had any luck growing this as a fall crop.

Glad the Black Seeded Simpson Lettuce was available. It's premium and way better tasting than nearly all other lettuce. Harder to find too.

Have used this brand and type of lettuce seed for years. Like it very much, taste is good, very productive, and works well in containers.

Less seeds than previous years
Seeds all sprouted as expected. Rating 4 stars because I was expecting more seeds in the package, as there were more seeds packaged in previous years Iv been planting this same kinds with burpees. Had to buy an extra package this year.
