Burt's Bees 100% Natural Moisturizing Lipstick, Iced Iris - 1 Tube

I was super excited to see this product in my beauty box and it was the right shade for my skin tone and everything!! It made my lips look great without drying them out, it lasted a good while too! I only had to apply One more time throughout the day. This is the best lipstick I have used and will continue to wear it!

I tried the satin Lipstick in Sunset cruise and lily Lake. Firstly the new formula is super creamy and glides on my lip I basically have an extremely dry chapped lips so I want a lipstick that takes care of my lips and not emphasize my concerns. This satin lipstick has done a great job my lip feels smooth and conditioned plus the lipstick looks amazing the colors are wearable everyday once perfect for work.Easy to build up and reapply But definitely the formula is creamy which makes me feel happy when lipstick on as my lips look polished not flakey or creased. I received Burt's Bees satin lipstick for free to try and was very pleasantly surprised! The lipstick went on smooth and looked smooth for hours. This satin lipstick didn't dry up after it was put on and and didnt accumulate in the corners of my mouth. This iced iris is a light suttle color. Easy to apply and goes on soft it nourishes lips as giving a bit of color.also easy wipe off.. Stays on for hours without having to reapply.. I have both Blush Basin and Scarlet Soaked. The former is almost exactly the same color as my natural lip, while the latter is a very pretty and bold shade of red. It goes on smooth, and definitely has been helping my chapped lips - my lips tend to dry out and chap if I go a day without lip balm, but this is a good substitute. It lasts for a few hours, but I've noticed that the color fades a little after 15 minutes or so - it's not a 'long-lasting' color, but lasts long enough for most situations. It doesn't seem to get caught on my teeth like some lipsticks, which is a bonus. I haven't had any irritation from this product, but I don't usually get irritation from lipstick anyway. I would combine this with a lip exfoliator for best results, because it does a good job to keep lips moist once you get the dead skin off, and perhaps some translucent powder if you prefer a matte finish, since it's quite creamy.

The lipstick is not too creamy, not too stiff, goes on smooth and stays put for a long time even when drinking from a water bottle. It does not dry out your lips and make them peel. And it is not greasy or overly shiny. My only complaint is that the Fuchsia Flood is NOT the same color as in the picture advertised. I wanted the deep almost purple shade in the photo, but it is more of a baby doll pink. Luckily, I'm pale enough to be able to wear it. But it is not a dark color. I also like the case. Since it is rectangle rather than round, it does not roll off the table or the counter top.

Burt's Bees Lipstick is a fantastic product to wear everyday. I have Fuchsia Flood which is on the pink side and it looks good on me. I like how it glides when I apply it. Its not a matte lipstick so you'll feel a bit of moisture and see a bit of a sheen when applied. I still put on lip balm underneath because my lips tend to dry up. Even though the brand is known for lip balms, this is a lipstick and has to be reapplied often. I would definitely purchase this in the future & try different colors.

This is the second tube of this lipstick I have bought and am very dissatisfied. The first tube I bought after several uses became grainy and ruff feeling nasty on my lips. I tried wiping the tip off then I cut about half of the stick off hoping I could get rid of the grainy stuff. It didn't happen. I threw the tube away. I really liked the color, it stayed on and felt very good the first several times of use. I decided it must have been a bad tube so I bought a different color at a different store and now I have the same problem. I have never had this problem with lipstick before and I do like your lip balm just not the lipstick!

I have purchased 3 of these lipsticks. The first two I purchased were duds. One color - i loved and the other i did not. They both became gritty. I thought it was something I may have done. But, now the third one has done the same thing! I hate this has happened. It is literally falling apart.

I'm a regular Burt's lip balm user and recommend it to all - particularly like the tinted ones so was excited to try the lipstick but very disappointed - it's very hard to get a defined edge on application and colour didn't last. Very soft consistency and mechanism poor in actual container, lipstick got stuck on 1st turn and now looks as if it will break off if used again. Waste of money.
