You can feel it working with the tingling sensation on your lips. Afterwards, you can feel the difference. My lips feel smoother and hydrated. This will be my go to lip balm moving forward for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I tried this lip balm for the first time, my lips were very chapped and felt quite tingly and uncomfortable after application. I believe this was due to the peppermint oil. This settled with subsequent applications and the peppermint oil now has a cooling sensation that isn't unpleasant. My lips also feel much softer and comfortable with consistent use.

I was expecting a more waxing taste and texture but I was pleasantly surprised. I work in an air conditioned office all day and this kept my lips moisturised and did not dry them out. It didnt leave residue on cups/straws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I use a lip balm daily, and have for most of my life. The one I use regularly has hyaluronic acid, so to use this Burt's bees lip balm, was very different. It was nice, but not what I'm used to.

I ordered this for my irritated skin on lips. I expected honey smell, nourishing and hydration. But this peppermint takes everything aside! It irritated my lips even more. It smells awfully, like toothpaste, but worse. I wish I would be able to return it, because it is not “just not working”, it is “I will ruin your lips and bring you pain”. Perhaps it could work as a lip plumper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like Burt's Bees Beeswax Moisturising Lip Balm at all. I generally love anything with peppermint in it. But peppermint taste of this lip balm gave my lips a burning sensation that was not at all enjoyable. Not to mention that I usually use lip balm in winter time to keep my lips moisturised but the peppermint made them feel ice cold out in the cold weather. My lip balm also was initially really hard which made it hard to apply. It eventually softened, perhaps from the warmer temperature but still wasn't as soft and moisturising as I would have preferred. While my lips felt soft after applying the lip balm, my overall experience wasn't positive. I probably won't purchase this product in the future as I have used better lip balms before. m
