Burt's Bees Brow Pencil, Brunette, 0.04 oz

Best blond eyebrow pencil I've found. Nice texture, neutral blond color. Not too yellow, not too brown.

I love this pencil. It blends nice with my light eyebrows and skin. It looks good all day.

I gave this Burt's Bees Brow Pencil to my adult daughter. She has brunette hair. She says: This brow pencil has a brush on one end and the pencil itself on the other. The color itself is more a dark tan than brown but that was fine with me. The look this product gives is very natural and easy for anybody to use. I followed the directions on the back of the package (Basically just fill in your brow and then brush) and my brows look fuller. The product lasted throughout the day but does wear a bit as the day goes on. Very easy to remove with soap and water or a makeup wipe. I would recommend this product.

This Burt's Bees Brow Pencil in brunette allows me to apply a sweeping bold or light line to the top or bottom of my eye area. What I like most about this product is that it is 99.9% natural, and also that it is not tested on animals. What I found unique about this brow pencil is that there is a cover for both the pencil and the brush; which, is a great way to keep both clean and sanitary. I have found that this product does not fade, or smudge on me, and as a person who wears glasses both of these are important. I frequently mess with my glasses and eyes during the day. And, unfortunately, with allergies this fall, my eyes burn and this product does not cause discomfort, nor do I look like a raccoon after sometimes rubbing my eyes.

I have searched for lo these many years for a good eyebrow solution for my light blond, sparse eyebrows, from brushes to pens to pencils. I was surprised that the best solution was the simplest - an eyebrow pencil that's just the right amount of color to enhance my pale skin without making me look like a clown, plus just the right level of softness so that the color looks natural, not like I painted on my eyebrows. It makes a huge difference on my face and for my self-esteem. I'm sure it's fine for people with visible eyebrows too, but if your eyebrows disappear halfway around the arch, you'll love this product.

It gives a beautiful outline to then fill in. I like to use the side of the pencil for a fuller line. Because the brow ingredient is so smooth it tends to break off while sharpening.Slowly moving the sharpener around the pencil works better.The pencil allows for a fuller brow look.

Burt's Bees' 1610 brunette eyebrow pencil applies well, is a blendable formulation, and for me, is a natural color match. I have never been an eyebrow pencil user prior to this purchase, so a new makeup area for me. I did have to practice application and blending a few times before I felt comfortable wearing my touched up brows out in public ... initially my efforts looked too fake and ridiculous (at least to me), but once I discovered the art of blending well with a brush and use of a little powder to set ... the result was nicely enhanced brows that helped define my face without causing folks to double take (we've all experienced a few of those double take moments since brows have been having a minute these last few years ... admit it). I do find that my efforts tend to fade somewhat throughout the day, but I'm alright with a natural type of fade rather than a smearing situation. This pencil does not smear once set. If you are getting into the eyebrow pencil game, the blendability of this pencil makes it a good one to try.

I was excited to try the Burt Bees Brow Pencil as I love their Natural Nourishing Mascara. While this brow pencil is in the same line of natural products as the mascara, I found that I did not like it as much. The brow pencil comes in 2 color choices, blond and brunette. I have brown hair and thought the brunette would work, but found that it was not quite dark enough for my coloring. The pencil seemed too soft and it smeared easily. I did like the brush part of the pencil. I love how easily i was able to shape my brows. If a darker option is offered in the future i would definately try this product again. I would recommend this product for people with light hair color.

I want to start off this review by stating that I am a big fan of Burt's Bees products and have been for many years. Nothing beats natural makeup and skin care products. That said, I was not at all impressed with this brow pencil. It has a smooth, creamy texture, but there's a waxiness to the formula that makes it hard to apply evenly. Forget trying to keep the tip sharp, because it's very soft and basically melts against your skin. Not sure if it's because of the nourishing jojoba oil and shea butter or something else, but it is a bit frustrating when trying to draw a thin, precise line. The 1610 Brunette shade is not for everyone, either. It's a medium reddish-brown, which just kinda fades right into my olive skin tone. I would suggest Burt's Bees create a slightly darker ash brown shade for people like me that have extremely dark brown or black hair. Once applied, the color rubs off and fades rather easily. I do like the spoolie a lot. The bristles are firm and blend the product very well. I also like the fact that this product is made from responsibly sourced cedar wood and is 99.9% natural. If you are looking for a soft, easily blendable brow pencil, then this may actually work well for you. If you'd prefer a sharper, more defined brow, then I'd suggest trying something else.

Nice colour but very dissappointed with the quality of the pencil. I have not been able to sharpen the product without the point breaking. Every time. The pencil is so soft. I've tried several different pencil sharpeners and even tried putting it in the freezer. Will not be buying again. I did email the customer care team but no one replied :(
