Burt's Bees Eye Shadow Primer, Neutral Ultra Sheer/Translucent Beige Color - 0.25 Ounce

I was tired of the national brand creme eye shadow products that dry out after time in their containers or get flaky after a month. I decided to try this Burt Bees product because I love their lipsticks (Russet River shade especially). The eye shadow was not as color saturated as I am used to. I wish it had a little stronger pink sheen to it, but I still like it for its ease in application and its natural glowy look. I would be happy to try more shades, if they are introduced.

I probably didn't think about the word "shimmer" enough before ordering. While alone it might be too shimmery for me, I use a matte powder over it and really like the effect. It's a good daytime look. The cream is so nice to use, and there is no creasing.

True to Burt's Bees character, this product is a natural style pretty. Boosting natural beauty with a fun sparkle. I am trying to be more soft in my appearance but I love a rich brown smoky eye. The darkest shade available would be more normal light shade so I do wish there was a deep brown or charcoal shade. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good primer is a must if you want your eyeshadow to pop and Burts Bees Cream Primer does the trick! Not only does my eyeshadow look great, but with the primer, it seems to have more staying power too. It applies sheer and isn't sticky or greasy. I definitely recommend this primer to anyone looking to up their makeup game!

I love cream shadows, but most use very harsh chemicals. I was thrilled when Burt's Bee's came out w/ cream shadows. I use rose gold as my base/primer. Then I use their powdered darker shadows in my crease and outer portion of eyelid. I'm a professional makeup artist, and love these cream shadows. Use fingers for creams, then brushes for powders and you'll have fantastic results too. Also, a contact lens wearer, so great to have creams to prevent getting into eyes.

This is easily one of the best primers I've ever used. I've found some primers tend to be too dry for me so I've been using UD's Anti-Aging Primer Potion for years but now I'm a concert! It has a very silky application and dries quickly. There is minimal color and a slight shimmer but I don't mind that at all. It keeps my makeup on and in place despite me sometimes rubbing my eyes do to allergies. I will absolutely continue to use this. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love how smooth this base goes on I have the eyeshadow primer in 002 it has no color but it definitely intensifies the eyeshadow that you are using it doesn't crack your eyeshadow it locks the eyeshadow in place I really like this eyeshadow primer

Product was not in good condition. It doesn't appear that it was damaged in shipping. I believe the product was old. The cream blush was dried out and in several pieces in the container. I will be asking for a refund.

Beautiful color but the product was completely dried out and broken into bits.
