Burt's Bees Flavor Crystals 100% Natural Lip Balm, Raspberry, 1 Count

I was looking for a substitute for a more expensive brand that I use. When I came across this I was Skeptical because of this brand being associated with honey. I am happy I tried this. It works well and I think I'll buy a couple to have lying in wait.

I'm here trying to figure out how to buy a boatload of this stuff and am shocked at the negative reviews. The gritty "flavor crystals" are the best part about this product. The grit (I image it's something akin to sugar) exfoliates your lips every time you apply it. My daughter, my work besty and I are all in love with this. PPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE don't stop making this!!! It's the best thing I've ever used on my lips. My lips tend to be dry so the exfoliating crystals work like a miracle to get rid of the dry, peeling "lip skin". My lips have never been smoother. This stuff is the best!

I have been buying Burt's Bees since it came on the market (before you could buy it everywhere). Up til recently, my lips have been painfully dry because of the cold air and Burt's was not working for me anymore. I tried so many different brands to get some relief. Nothing. Then Christmas rolled around and my mom gave me this New Red Raspberry Flavor Crystals Lip Balm. Wow!! What I relief I got! It worked! My lips don't hurt anymore and are back to being smooth. I use this every day now and I don't see going back to anything else anytime soon.

I have all 3 flavors and they are all excellent! I hope they decide to make a few more flavors. In addition to tasting and smelling amazing, they also help keep my lips soft!

I like that the flavor crystals feel like they're exfoliating my lips, especially in the harsh winter when my lips are very dry and chapped. I don't mind the flavor at all even though I tend to steer away from fruity things. And the best part is that my lips to feel moisturized and gives them a nice natural color. I would definitely purchase again.

I really liked the lip balm and how smooth it feels, but I would've hoped that it had a better taste/scent of the raspberry. Although the lip balm was great! :)

I was given this as a gift for my birthday yesterday and I absolutely love burts bees so i was excited to try their new product. However, it is a little rough on my lips so far. Its fantastic for exfoliating which is not the inteded purpose and my lips are super soft but its not super great for moisture which is what I was looking for.

You'd think that something labeled "Flavor Crystals" lip balm would taste good. I imagined Crystal Light infused into a lip balm. Sadly, that is not the case. The texture is fine; I didn't notice any grittiness. The flavor on the other hand was gross. The only reason I spend more money on higher quality lip balm is because I can't stand it when they taste bad. Nobody wants something that tastes awful on their lips where you're constantly reminded of the terrible flavor. I'm sorry Burts Bees, but this was a fail.

I LOVE Burts Bees Pomegranite Moisturizing Lip Balm so I thought I would try the Red Raspberry with flavor crystals. I was very disappointed!!! It feels very drying on the lips and the flavor crystals are very gritty. I don't mind paying a little extra for Burts Bees products but this one was not worth it. Threw it away. :(

I bought all the ones I could get my hands on when I received an email that they were reformulating. The reason I loved them was due to the, so called, more abrasive flavor crystals. They would help exfoliate my lips and then leave them with a nice coating of product. With the new formula I feel as if Im putting finely milled sand on them, not to mention when you reformulate a product it changes the feel/texture and overall consistency. I thought they had it right the first time so much so I went through 5 of them. Well maybe I'll get used to the new formula.
