No scent or taste. Mauve is my fav, I think it would work for everybody. I have used lip balm for a long time, but I don't like lipstick because it tastes funny to me. I wanted to have some color, though, and then I discovered this product. It is a good balm, and the color stays for a long time, especially the mauve. You can put more layers on for a deeper color or one layer just for a hint of color. Price is good compared to other brands.

Burt's Bees Tinted Boosted Balm is the best cosmetic product I have come across in a long time. I had been looking for lipstick that was naturally based. In my search I came across this tinted balm. Although it's not lipstick, it is everything I was looking for and more. Firstly, the Misty Mauve color is rich and deep without being over the top. It glides on smooth, stays in place, and I don't need a lot to get the color I desire. The vitamin C, E, and F complex provides antioxidant protection and an 8 hour moisture barrier. My lips feel soft and pampered. I haven't noticed any scent or taste. The recyclable packaging is safety sealed with tape, so no in-store product testers to worry about. 👍 I would highly recommend this product, and I plan to try their other colors.

It’s a really subtle shade. I love how smooth it is and VERY moisturizing while also keeps your lips feeling plump and beautiful. I needed something for everyday wear that gives my lips some color. I can’t live without a good everyday lip! And even better, it is good for my lips and won’t dry them out. Highly recommend.

I’ve gotten so many. Compliments on the color and how it looked on my lips. The moisture is incredible. The. One bad thing is that the moisture doesn’t last as long as advertised. Over all the product is perfect for me. A happy camper!!

Burt's Bees Misty Mauve Boosted Lip Balm is a great product for my lips. It feel soothing and hydrating. And although the color looks dark in the container, it is not that dark when applied. I've received so many compliments on the color.

VERY moisturizing without drying your lips out afterwards! you don't even need to put that much on to get that moisturizing effect. Bought the darkest shade they had to test it out and while it is tinted, it's not a deep tint like with the mineral fusion brand that I bought that's a similar shade. that one actually looks like a glossy lipstick which is fine but not exactly what I was looking for. this is a perfect balance of moisturizing lip gloss with a nice subtle tint. I will definitely be getting the other two colors as well. it is a bit pricey but for the quality and how much you get, it's not too bad. especially since right now they have a $2 back with purchase

For me, it is the container which makes it extremely easy to apply. (Long and slender).. The color I ordered is right on. The consistency is somewhat creamy and makes it very easy to apply.....even the first time you use it.
