Burt's Bees Natural & Moisturizing Lip Balm, Hemp

I used Chapstick for years until about 4yrs ago. It no longer moisturized my lips and I had to find a new lip balm. When I found this one, I noticed two things: instant relief and less need to apply. Forget the picture on it or the stereotype. Hemp has always been used for medical treatment and continues to do so. Try it!

The chapstick was a little hard and you have to use it quite a few times for it to go on normally. But the smell is pleasant and it keeps your lips moisturized for a good while. Love the packaging Burts Bees comes in. Always looks like a higher end product. The taste, texture and smell of the Hemp Moisterizing Lip Balm was exactly what I expected from Burts Bees.

This Burts bees hemp lip balm is my new favorite, It's perfect for keeping my lips protected during these cold months but I'll also use year round:) Leaves your lips very soft and moisturized, yet very light on the lips. The scent is nice and light and the packaging is cute yet simple and recognizable as burt's bees product. Plus all products are 100% natural origin and all beeswax is responsibly sourced! I love Burt's Bees products, and this is no exception. My lips respond really well to the hemp oil. This has become a staple on my night stand!

The Burt's Bees Hemp Lip Balm is a mild herby option that has a pleasant herbal smell yet the balm still has that familiar faintly sweet taste like the other Burt's Bees lip balms. I love that this balm is very smooth (again, just like other Burt's Bees balms), but my favorite balms also reduce friction when I rub my lips together (ie Burt's Bees Vanilla is very slick, and that's the reason the Vanilla flavor is my overall #1 balm choice). I'm an avid lip balm user; the only reason the Hemp balm received 4 out of 5 stars is due to the friction issue. The hemp balm will never be my favorite (unless reformulated), but I do like flavor variety and the hemp is different enough to break into the regular rotation because it's velvety smooth and the flavor is significantly different from the other flavor profiles. Thge ONLY lip balm, including other Burt's Bees, that stops the oncoming hives around my lips after eating most foods.Bothers me how much waste from not being able to get to the bottom of the tube as the screw mechanism disconnects from the base of the stick and cannot raise the end of the product to use it. And I think its too expensive! But for me, the Hemp works and I'm a loyal customer.

Due to some recent issues with severe, dry and peeling lips, I've been trying to find a balm that would keep my lips moisturized for more than a few minutes. This one does NOT! Still looking...
