Burt's Bees Natural Pet Care for Dogs Tear Stain Remover

I have a 15-year-old male Shih Tzu that is about 95% blind. He gets black crud that seals his poor eyes shut. I fight with him every day trying to wash it off with a warm wash cloth. I put this Tear Stain Remover on a cotton make-up remover pad and it works wonderfully. It dissolves much of the "crud" and softens the rest so I can gently pull it off his eyes.

I did not put this inside my dogs eyes. No!! I put some liquid on a Kleenex and rubbed around, underneath where eye boogers or stain was. Cleared up in a matter of days. A

I feel as if this is a very safe product to use on the area around my chihuahuas eyes and it has a very pleasant odor. I applied using a Cotton ball on his tear stains and it does clean the area however his fur is still stained. I will update this review after I've used it a month or two and see if that makes much of a difference. I know the stains did not appear overnight so I'm not expecting a miracle but I did hope I would see more of a change and at times I've been using it. but again using a natural product especially being made by Burt's Bees I feel that it's very safe to use all my animal

I use it in 2 of my dogs eyes, 2 times a day, and nothing has gotten any better. White dog still has brown eye stains as she always had, the light brown dog still has dark brown stains.

Love Burt's Bees products why I got this, but this item was not sealed n half open when I received.Some contents spilled on its box. I'm not comfortable to use cuz it was open n not sealed

The Burt's Bees Natural Pet Care for Dogs Tear Stain Remover arrived with a loose cap. It leaked all over the package and was half empty. It also had tape residue on the bottle but no tape. Walmart won't give a refund without its return to the store. This is an expensive eye product that I can not trust using in this condition. They really ought to be bigger about the situation. I'm sure the product itself is a good one when in useable condition.
