Bushnell 1000 Lumen LED Magnetic Area Light

This light is perfect for so many things. The light is bright and doesn't distort colors. Perfect for crafting as well as mechanic work. Magnet sticks well but not so hard your can't remove it one handed. Good for when your looking under stuff too. Fits well in your hand too. With small dogs I'm always looking under the couch for small toys and such Very much recommend.

EXCELLENT battery-powered lights. I have now 6 of them located at my various outdoor cat shelter areas. As long as they are out of the weather, protected from rain, etc., they work very well. I really cannot do without them. I realize that they are meant for pickup truck beds, but they're good for many applications. And the light swivels about 45 degrees which is really helpful. If you have something metal nearby, you can attach the lights to a metal pole, etc with the strong magnets on the base of this light.

This area light has the best features ever. The magnetic base is sound and solid while still being lightweight. It does take three D batteries and the enclosure is sturdy yet easier to open than any other I have seen. I have arthritis in my hands and it isn't one of those small and delicate enclosures. It has a round piece that spins and then you pull it open to install the batteries. It has 3 different light settings along with a swivel head so that it can be pointed in any direction. It also has a large, soft red button to turn it off and on. When in use, it lights up red so you can see it better. This area light is great for everyday use. It gives me a little light or a lot of light depending on what I need and because the light is wide, it helps cover more area without having to blind me on a higher setting. I would definitely recommend this area light.

Excellent area light. Seems well made and should hold up to heavy/ruff use. The only (slight) flaw I've noticed is the ends should be at 90 degree angles so it would stand-up on end better. It will stand on end but not very sturdily. Still a 5 star review though. Three light settings... low, med & high for different needs and help save battery life. I would recommend this light to friends and family or as a gift.

This is a great light for just about any use. It's sturdy and heavy and could be placed on a countertop or any magnetic surface to light the area very well. I'm sure it would be great for working on cars, at the campsite or just a great light if the power goes out. It has 3 brightness settings and the light can be flipped into any direction. It's a great all-purpose light.

This Bushnell magnetic light I attached it to the side of my stainless steel refrigerator. It is to provide to the side of my stainless steel refrigerator to light to a dark 4 shelf pantry. This is a *God sent item. up a 4 shelf pantry from bottom shelf to the top shelf and attic door above the pantry. Three levels of illumination to choose from. I avoided paying an electrician. Pandemic avoid leaving my house to purchase and then possibly paying to hang a work task light.

I received the Bushnell 1000 Lumen Magnetic Light and was a little annoyed that it does not come with the 3 D cell batteries it needs. That is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. I do not typically keep that size batteries on hand so had to make a special trip to get some. Otherwise the light works great! I put it on my breaker box in my basement because the basement has very limited lighting. That is where the magnetic strips came in handy. It has 3 different brightness settings and really lights up a good area. I always need a light when I trip a breaker because it is so dark down the basement so now I will always have one on hand when I need it.

I received The Bushnell 1000 Lumen Magnetic Area Light for testing purposes and I must say that it was a huge help when my two dogs decided to go for a late night stroll after breaking free from their harnesses! It has 3 light settings, even the lowest is really bright, it's magnetic, so I can stick it on any metal surface, like the inside of my trunk (or a truck bed), to help free up both hands, it uses 3 size D batteries, making it a quote bit more heavy than the average flashlight. It would have been nice if it came with an AC adapter as well in case I wanted to use it more long term, like in a dimly lit area; dark closet. However, I would still recommend it because it came in handy when I least expected it to.

Overall, I enjoy this light! I like that the top light part swivels completely around so you can easily tilt the light to illuminate the area you want (while having the stable base). You do need three D-batteries that are not included, so it ends up being a little heavy. However, it still is easy to transport. I was surprised how secure the light was able to stay attached magnetically due to the weight. I was initially concerned the magnets would be so strong they could pinch my fingers when I attached it, but I was able to easily attach, move, and remove the magnet without pinching (or even coming close to pinching) my fingers. It does have a manual way to open the battery compartment, so you don't need tools to open (it did take me a few seconds to figure out how to open this though the first time because it was different than others I've used). The light has a button with three intensity levels which you can use by clicking the button and cycling from the low, middle, high (then off). I do wish there was one brighter click just to illuminate the room slightly more (especially since it uses the power of 3 D-batteries) but this is a minor inconvenience and I can just use a second light if need be. Overall, I am pleased with this light. I am surprised by the magnetic aspect working as well as it does and I love the swivel component of the light (which is unique to other lights I have).

Once in a while a product is truly a good buy. This Bushnell 1000 Lumen Magnetic Area Light seems to be panning out to be one of those once-in-a-while good purchases. The light has 3 intensities: low, medium, and high. Low gives off a fair amount of light but was not enough to read comfortably. Medium was fine for reading and High was overkill in my opinion. I am a basic person and I do not need lighting beyond a few yards. This Bushell exceeds my needs by a long shot. The 360 degrees swivel is nice. Place the light up high and angle it downwards. The light has a nice soft rubber bottom and magnets in the base are quite strong. The light did not budge one bit. Unfortunately, this light has to operate by three D-Cell batteries. A rechargeable lithium battery would have been a killer combo with the LEDs. I do not know how long batteries would last. I'm not wasting a set of batteries to find out and write this here review. I would give consideration to this light again if it had a rechargeable lithium battery and could be charged by USB or 12v accessory socket.
