Bushnell 1000 Lumens Camping Lantern

Excellent light. Not blinding. The flashlight is a big plus. And the red light is perfect for a night light.

This electric lantern puts out a lot of light (1000 lumens) for a battery-powered lantern, making it an excellent backup light during a home power outage. The spotlight feature is also impressive. I thought it would just provide the light of a small flashlight but it actually lights up a large area. The button for the spotlight is on the handle so it's easy to switch from the lantern to the spotlight.

I have purchased 5 lanterns in the last few months, trying to find one that was light enough and strong enough to last at least 8 hours in case of a power outage. It also had to have 2000 lumens or more. Well THIS ONE IS THE ONE ! ! ! ! ! You can turn down the amount of light that you want and it even has a RED LIUGHT function. WHAT A BUY and the price is great as well. If this is what you are looking for, then this is the lantern for you.

Bright, illuminates a room well. Perfect for when our electricity goes out. I recommend it especially because it has light on both sides which illuminates an area well. It uses only 4 batteries.

I purchased this light for emergency use. I have not used it for emergency situations yet, I tested it, it is a vary good lantern. It puts out a lo't of light.

We've enjoyed the lantern outside of our original reason for the purchase. The light is adequate and the design seems to fit a lot of situations. Looking forward to it's continued use.

This is the brightest lantern I have ever owned. It will easily compete with propane lanterns without the fire hazard. I like the red light option which is necessary when camping to protect one's night vision. It also has a spotlight if you don't want to search for a flashlight.

This lantern is great. It puts off a great amount of light and the red light function is a very nice extra feature. I have not had to the light long to get a good idea of battery life but I would imagine it is fairly decent. I would recommend this lantern as a camping necessity or even in a storm disaster kit. Good buy

I ordered and received this lantern just before the Memorial Day holiday so we were able to take it on our camping trip. We were very impressed! It has a lot of functions and the settings are easy to control. My fiance really enjoyed the red light feature, so that it wasn't so blinding in the tent at night. This lantern can light a large or small space. Definitely recommend!

I purchased this lantern after having considering other lanterns that were being sold. It has a very nice finish to it. It was a very nice looking lantern. I needed one that emmited 1000 lumens and had a knob so that I could adjust the light. There was an Ozark a trail lantern that had the same features but only emitted 500 lumens. It was 10.00 less so I thought I'd pay a little more to get 500 more lumens. I am satisfied with this purchase. It emits a soft white light which I liked a lot more than the sharp yellowish light that my Might d light emitted. This lantern has been very durable. I have had no issue with it. The knob did get stuck at one point but a quick hard turn resolved that issue. It does take 4 D batteries which could be expensive but overall, I am very satisfied with it.
