I normally buy a few of these each time I shop mainly to make homemade puppy food for my mini schnauzer and of course for taco Tuesdays for a Healthier option and ground beef
I love the Butterball Fresh Turkey Ground. It is good. It is healthy and yummy. I season it, then add onions and bell pepper. I serve it with a light gray or the kids like it on a bun with cheese.
This lean ground turkey is great for lighter meals and still stays moist when cooked properly. A go-to for meal prep.
They got mushy/milky within 3 days. I could only use 3 out of the whole bag 🙁 I will buy individual, larger ones from now on!
Great choice for elderly individuals who don't eat beef or pork. Makes great chili, or a meatloaf, and great burgers. Ground turkey easily takes on spices and seasonings. Would definitely recommend for those older individuals or those watching weight.
this product seems to have a lot of water. when you cook it, you're left with a skillet full of bubbling water.
I got it delivered at 7am, inside the fridge by 7:15 and I went to work came home to cook it for meal prep the package had a lot of air in it and when I cut it open the most foul smell I've ever smelt came out. It was a weird texture and straight to the trash can it went.
This is nasty. its not ground turkey and mechanically seperated which is any little bits of turkey and tendons left on the bone. its seperated from the bone in a spinning machine then run through a stuffing maching with an attachment to give an appearance of being ground. I also cooked off at least 8oz of fluid
The meat was rotten. It smelled like it had started to rot in transport to the store, was frozen, and then sold.
It was rotten!Nearly knocked me out...whoo eeee what a horrible smell!Ground turkey should have NO SMELL! It said use or freeze by Jan 17 2025 and I opened it Jan 4! I've used this before but this batch is rotten meat! Ugh!!
