These buns held the meat I ate for hotdogs. Last time I purchased them they were so tiny. The hotdog was sticking out of each side by about an inch. This may sound like a con for most of you, but for me, it was a big plus. I usually break off a small piece of bread at the end because I want a equal or greater part ratio of wiener to bun with my hotdogs, but not with this. I got all the meat I needed and then some and didn't have to waste any of the bun. The cuts on them were good, sometimes they're a bit off to where a side is more thin than the other, which can be a problem. This batch however, did not have that issue, it was perfectly cut right down the middle and I was able to eat the hotdog without making a mess and having the bun break apart while I was enjoying it. Did I mention that the hotdog stuck out of the bun by an inch on each side? I really like that about these buns. They were a pretty good value too, I didn't have to spend much on these buns. I used all of them. I ate them with Ball Park frank bun length weiners. I think that might have been part of the reason why the weiner stuck out of the bun so much. These buns are actually designed for what most hotdogs lengths are. Ball Park increased the length of their weiners so that they could be proportionate to the normal bun while at the same time it seems as thought Butternut has decreased the size of their buns to match the regular sized hotdog. This helps me a lot.

The quality was not what you would expect when you think of butternut. When I received it, it was damaged, dry %26 brittle.

Received my grocery order today, my 8 hotdog buns arrived with only 7 1/2 buns!!! Looks like someone ate part of my bun. Come on Walmart, do better. Requested a refund, took pictures and threw out the eaten product. Never again.
