Tut, tut, nuttin but...
This seventy plus YO, bachelor rates this bread at a 4 but would probably rate most other big brands the same. I grew up on "Silver Cup", moved to "Wonder" and tried the "Great Value brand". The best would be: fresh out of the oven, sliced on the table, buttered by me! Ain't gonna happen! This "Butternut" brand seems very good to me. I get the "Whole Grain" edition Cause it's supposed to be gooder for you! Don't know about that! Seems that these 21st century vs. 20th century versions have the consistency of a wet rag. But, I haven't tried them all yet. Still it toasts right, fries right and sandwiches right too! Tastes great with peanut butter and jelly although you gotta support it with both hands or it'll sag into your lap! so the old guy will quit grumblin' and let you try it for yourself!

Butternut bread
Each slice has weird hard bread balls in them so you pick them out and left with a whole in your bread

Disappointed
Bread was stuck together. I pulled the slices apart and the bread seemed moist, gummy, and smelly. I threw it away. I will never buy it again.
