Well after waiting for the weather to improved and start using my Centris, I finally had the opportunity! I had my reservation about my ability to climb up the hill at my street which it is quite steep and I haven't ride a bke in over 20yrs. But it when quite well. The pedal assist mode make it so effortless to just saddle up and go. I have been riding my Centris to work and it has been a great commute so far. I feel secure with the bike and its safey features (Head light, tail light and spoke reflectors). It has been a great partnership and I'm enjoying it so far.
I love this Centris. I rode 75 miles in 2 weeks! Its a handsome black bike. I use only the first level assist whenever I ride. I can go farther than a regular bike and go to more places. The reason I decided to choose Centris is because of the handle bar height. It does not strain my back and I am upright when I ride. A review says something about the side stand and the pedal hits it but I think it was designed for safety reasons. You don't forget to release the stand. The only complaint is the tires. It gets easily punctured. I had a flat tire yesterday. My wife has to pick me up and the folding option got tested! It fit behind the Prius! Although it is really heavy & an extra hand would be a relief. It's a great buy! No regrets on this good looking bike.
Great looking bike!..looks even better in person..Want to order one for my wife..looking for the 15% off code cannot find it to order hers can you please assist. Buzzed up! Doug Wood

I just got my Centris this week and am extremely happy with it. Assembly took about 30 minutes but that was mainly me taking my time. I did my first real ride today and I am very impressed. I rode 40.3 miles and still had 2 bars left on my battery. I definitely gave out before the bike. I really liked the upright seating position it was much more comfortable for cruising vs my MTN bike. I thought the ride might be harsh and was considering a suspension seat post but the wheels and front shock do great job absorbing the bumps. A couple things I might change are the pedals, I'm used to really grippy pedals with my MTN and not sure how often I will fold the bike anyway so that's a consideration then possibly a goose neck seat post as I want to sit a bit further back on the bike, I'm 6'3". I might also look at adding handlebar extenders just to get a little wider stance. Very minor things which if I didn't do probably wouldn't make a huge difference. When riding the bike also felt much lighter than the listed weight. I had no troubles lifting the front end while going over curbs etc it moved right along. Again I'm extremely impressed and highly recommend this especially at the current BF pricing.
A good value for the money. You may not break speed records. But for an older person who is not looking to do a lot of off road and taking it easy this will work. The seat angle is a little tight for long legs or stiff knees. But my wife road it after a knee surgery and it's working. The seat is a little smallish also. One can upgrade to a larger seat. Well made. Very portable. I lift it into the back seat of my F150 without great difficulty. Weighs about 70 lbs. First E bike I road. Quite a change from the old school peddle bike I got. We have a lot of hills and the E bike rocks for that! Our plan is to travel in the RV and take two of these with eventually.
I love my bike. The set is comfortable. The bike is ready to operate. Having the bike assist is awesome so that I can go on really long bike rides. The things I with I could change are having it fold easier. Once I finally can get our folded, there's no latch to hold out together so it makes it very difficult to move because it wants to unfold on you. The assist is way too much assist. I have it set to only lever one assist and it doesn't feel like I'm getting any exercise at all, very minimal peddling effort therefore I never even use anything higher than level one assist.
Great buy we love our bikes ride great and charge fast
Handle bars would not lock in place the medal pin was bent I tapped the dent out finally got it to lock in place also when you ride the bike it feels like the wheels and tires are warped
