It literally tastes and smells like dog food. Absolutely repulsive. The pieces of chicken that were in this tasted like they were probably ripped from the carcass somewhere near the chicken's butt, ground up, and then re-shaped as bits of actual chicken. The house wreaks. I want my $6 back.
Surprisingly gross. The crust looked thick %26 tough, nothing flaky about it. When cooked the crust had fallen completely to the bottom of bowl %26 so thick %26 rock hard knife was useless. When pulled off there was very thin filling like frosting. I found one piece of chicken %26 rest was a mystery. Gordon would not eat this %26 should check his production people.
I read great reviews online prior to buying - should have checked the Walmart reviews!!! The total amount of chicken was no more than 1.5 cubic inches. The chicken looked like small bits of scrap and a few were spit out. There was so much salt the sauce was unappealing. Practically no peas. Three tiny bits of potato. Do NOT microwave - I didn’t want to run my oven for an hour nor wait that long so thought i’d microwave to defrost and finish in the oven. Never bothered with the oven - the edges of the crust were hardened and the center was mush. Perhaps the crust might be good if oven baked …. IMO absolutely not worth the price for very high sodium and fat - hard to believe the protein measure.
I followed the directions exactly. The crust was so hard. I couldn’t cut through it so I thought I would just eat the filling. There wasn’t even enough filling to cover the bottom of the container and it was so salty. I had to spit it out. Do not buy this.
I find it hard to believe how bad this pot pie was. First, the crust is extremely tough , yes I cooked it by the instructions. It goes on to being very very small amount of "filling" The flavor leaves much to be desired. 1st time I had purchased an product that Gordon Ramsey is associated with and will definitely will be the last.
I was so disappointed with this so called chicken pie. It said flaky crust, It looked and tasted like big flat cracker! I cooked it like it said to, and inside also was to salty no taste. I would tell anyone one that wanted to buy it not to, cost more then others . Having By Chef Ramsay name on it, really I don't know how he would put his name on something so awful !! Very unhappy customer, Carol Cool P.S. I took a picture so everyone could see but I don't know how to put it on here from my phone Maybe should send it to my face book account.
It’s a flat pot pie with ingredients so tiny I could not tell what I was eating. The chicken was tiny cubes and not very much in the pie. I added some cooked carrots and peas to make it more substantial since there was only the thinnest layer of filling. The crust was like a hard saltine cracker. Not at all flaky. Sorry Chef but this chicken pot pie didn’t meet any of what I look for in appt pie. It was a total waste of the inflated cost. I’m sticking with Stouffer’s. They make it like pot pie should be.
I gave this a 1 star rating, but it actually deserves a ZERO Z-E-R-O ‼️ It HORRIBLE %26 unedible‼️The crust is hard %26 tasteless. The filling, what their was of it, was unedible. The salt is off the charts in taste, ALL I could taste was salt. This pot pie was pure garbage, expensive piece of gar. I was looking forward to trying a Gordon Ramsey item. I've heard his food is good %26 chicken pot pie is one of my favorite foods. Disappointed is an understatement. I will NOT be trying anything else that carries his name based on the quality, taste, cost %26 content of his chicken pot pie. EVEN, E-V-E-N IF the pot pie had a decent taste it's NOT worth the money. The pot pie is 98% crust. It was NOT light %26 flakey, it was hard as a rock %26 tasteless. The filler as stated previously was TOO salty to eat %26 if it was edible you had a GRAND WHOOPING Tablespoon of filling‼️ I DID cook this in my 1100 watt microwave to the exact instructions provided. Do NOT Buy this product
The picture on the box is very deceiving. I followed the instructions and I found the crust came out too hard. The pot pie filling was too salty and not enough based on how much crust that was put on top of it. I ended up throwing most of it in the trash. I won’t buy this again. I was very disappointed because I expected the best from this chef.
i just spent an hour trying to figure out how to review this product because its my moral obligation to warn others how disgusting it is and just to be clear i rarely ever in my 54 yrs of life leave a review on anything.. i cooked it according to instructions. it was so tough and hard i had to use a knife to cut through the pastry top of the "pot pie" hoping the part underneath would be better than the top. after all my hard work cutting through it i found that there was nothing under it except a disgusting slimy dried up BROWN sauce that barely moistened the bottom of the pastry top. never seen 1 piece or speck of chicken. it tasted like a bad rotted mushroom and my dogs wouldnt even eat it. i cannot believe they want $6 for this garbage! The 99 cent banquet ones taste far better than whatever this was supposed to be. it completely discredited gordon ramsay for me and now i think hes just a food karen that doesnt know what food SHOULD taste like. yuck!
