If you don't yet believe in acupressure, you likely will after wearing these sandals for a few weeks. While uncomfortable at first (a stepping on Legos type of discomfort), they end up being miracle workers in the fight against aching feet. Perhaps begin with a short walk across a room, then add time and distance as you're able. Wearing them after two weeks or so felt less like stepping on pointy objects and more like a fabulously deep foot massage. I find these to be far more effective than heat or ice therapy or massage wands with acupressure attachments. Excellent value for the price.
