This is an awesome little hard drive enclosure! No bigger than the hard drive itself, and it doesn't need additional a/c power. It didn't come with any instructions, but it really didn't need any, because it's pretty obvious how to assemble it.

It is strong and does a good job of protecting the hard drive. I also like it because it came with a USB Y cable, which can be useful.

Good enough for the cost. An easy recommendation if you're not looking for anything fancy. Some minor issues with the Plug%26Play functionality, but this might be an OS issue.

Nice to have extra storage and be able use it anywhere.

The drive enclosure that I purchased is exactly what I needed and for the price I paid of six dollars I could not have asked for more. To be concise, for the money this SATA enclosure is the perfect solution to the problem I had of wanting to image and backup the data stored on a 250 gigabyte 2.5 inch spinning disk drive from a Toshiba laptop that would not longer boot. The build quality is cheap at best, the case made from aluminum hardly thicker than a drink can though the coat of blue paint was excellent, the electronics are as simple and cost effective as possible and the read/write speed is slow; writing 190 gigabytes to the cloud took nearly a full 24 hour period of time. The hardware is sound and easily did the job I had in mind when I began shopping for a enclosure so I am pleased. The connection though, a usb mini, is not ideal and the cable that is supplied has a "Y" connection to allow additional power from a second USB port and is extremely short so if you have an intention of using that you'll want to purchase a extension cord to allow yourself to connect to a separate bank but my computer was able to provide the required 5 volts for power as well as a data connection from a single USB 3 port so that was of no consequence to me in my situation.

This product is no longer compatible in the world of technology today. It definitely does not work with Windows 11 at all. Windows 11 does not recognize it as an external device at all. I have every intention of returning it. However, I suggest in a previous review that it he removed from Walmart's marketplace altogether.

Purchased 10 cases. I installed two separate 2.5" hard drives into two different cases and neither of them worked. Will be returning the product soon.

Caused me to reinitialize disks resulting in searching for data recovery software or services!
