[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cabot Australian Timber Oil was the perfect choice for restoring my outdoor furniture. Jarrah Brown was a perfect color match. Used a clean rag for easy application and even easier cleanup. Applied a single coat after a light sanding. Coverage was even so no need for a second coat. Comes off the skin with soap and water. Mineral spirits needed to clean up accidentally spillage on anything else.
The best stuff out there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coverage is great ! In one swift brush it covered well . Not shown is a pic after it rained and it's is beading off rain perfectly . The wood however should be prepared well prior to coating . I would 100 recommend this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The application process was largely straightforward; however, it is crucial to promptly address any streaks to avoid visible lines. The color is appealing, although I had anticipated a darker shade. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the outcome. I have additional shelving units to complete and am also exploring the possibility of staining the patio support columns.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how easy this timber oil is to apply and how it enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The finish looks rich and provides great protection, making outdoor wood surfaces look refreshed and well maintained.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good product. I received the color, JARRAH BROWN and took 3 pictures-one with a white background, an outside on green grass background and one with a dark chocolate brown background so you could really get a good feel for the color. The sample you see is one coat and it penetrated well into this piece of cedar. I thought it went on easily with a brush and definitely dries a bit differently. I would recommend a second coat to cover it just a bit better. As I said, I put this on rough cedar so keep in mind it will probably look a bit different on various types of wood. I did not have any issues with the smell or the overall consistency. The only thing I can't comment on is the longevity of the color since it's only has about one month wear time of the product, but so far so good and I definitely recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product arrived in a very appropriate packaging and safe very well stored when using it I realized that it dries quickly it works very well being ventilated and the disaste was very good I highly recommend it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I probably asked too much of this timber oil and yet it still delivered! We have an old unfinished pool deck that i'm converting into a seating area. This product covered BEAUTIFULLY! Unlike paint, I can still see and feel the grain / texture of the wood. It flows smoothly, seeps in to hydrate and protect the wood, and leaves a nice brown finish.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received free product to sample and it really worked great! Fence is a few years old, turning gray. Husband applied very easily with a sprayer. Project was done in no time. Sprayed on thick and smelled kind of fumey like oil based. I was really surprised by the color change. It completely covered the gray, looks like it moisturized wood. I think it will last many years and probably look better when it starts to wear out...I would definitely recommend this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used 5 Gal Austrian Timer Oil (Honey Teak) on my deck. 1 or 2 cans appear darker and thinker, more oily. The other cans are lighter and watery. They left different shade of colors on my deck. Please see attached photo. PLEASE HELP!
