Cabot Creamery Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese Block 8 oz (Refrigerated)

For anyone who doesn't know , Cabot cheese is lactose free! It's been a game changer in our household so that I can make ONE dish the entire family can and WILL eat. It's so much better than pre shredded cheese and definitely better than the fake stuff that's usually offered to lactose intolerant people. Now if Walmart will start stocking the pepper jack too!

This is what I use with 5 other cheeses for my Mac-n-cheese. Adding sharp cheddar is a game changer if that's new to you. It melts smooth and creamy and adds so much…umami. I also add fontina, smoked Gouda, cream cheese and a couple slices of white American cheese and a little velveeta. The cream cheese improves the texture and taste the last two for creaminess. All are smooth melting cheeses. The fontina and smoked Gouda Take it over the top. Go big or go home. ;)

i am extremely lactose intolerant .this is the only cheese i know which is completely n naturally lactose free . it also tastes great . i love sharo white cheddar. and all the other onesni cant eat any more . thank goodness this one is do good . one more thing ? other stores fontbseem to carry this ! so .. thats one more reason you have my budiness !; thank you

Really creamy, delicious extra sharp cheddar from Cabot Creamery! I bought this to try in a brocolli cheese soup recipe.  As I was cutting the blocks into little squares of coarse I tried one, it's cheese, come on, lol. I tend to snack while cooking. And wowsa! Before I knew it ai had 3 more and had to stop myself so I'd have enough for the soup! That good! And for my broccoli cheese soup recipe,  melted perfectly and added such a good cheese flavor I will be using this cheese for this recipe in the future! I'm addicted! Great for snacking and recipies and dangerously addicting!

Cabot cheese is always good! However, on two different occasions (2 different deliveries) the blocks of cheese I ordered were not vacuum sealed when they arrived and I had to discard them.! Maybe it would help to remind the workers to be careful with their selections and how they handle them! Sandra M. Leonard

Sometimes, I fear a great review of an item I love will mean it will always be out of stock! This is the best sharp white cheddar on the market, in my opinion. Toast an English Muffin. While it toasts, melt a good slice of this cheddar with a pat of butter. Smooth the butter, cheddar on the toasted muffin (sourdough is my favorite), sprinkle with a bit of white pepper! You've got a really good snack! Wonderful with your choice of cracker and a glass of wine. Yum!

By far the best Brand bar cheese in retail big box. Very creamy and tangy, compared to other brands exceeds expectations. Not to say there's not other cheeses that are better and more expensive like imported cheeses. Vermont cheddar is one of my favorites.

As a cheese lover, when I developed lactose intolerance, I saw it as a curse. Cabot cheese is naturally lactose free and has saved me!

This Cabot cheddar cheese never ceases to please. Whether on toast or crackers, its a show stopper. So give it a try- on flat bread or rye And you will be surprised how it will satisfy !

Just dont like this brand of extra sharp cheddar cheese. Hard, sorta dry %26 a bit bitter. Prefer other brands of extra sharp cheddar far more than this brand. Usually let cheese warm to room temp eat on crackers, but this stuff had to melt on food as it just wasnt very good.
