Cabot Creamery Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese Block 8 oz (Refrigerated)

Cabot white Cheddar has been a favorite cheese of mine for many years... When I can find it, the "Seiously Sharp" is my choice. I love it melted on cornbread, beans, mixed veggies, or just about anything else... Arrange it on a large plate of saltine crackers; 'nuke' it for a couple of mins, and that's some real snackin'... Just wish it were a little easier to slice... It's a real 'pain' for 87-year-old hands to slice neatly, but I shall persevere... LOL

Everything is too expensive for me these days, but otherwise this cheese gets the stars! The name isn't explicit enough, so be aware it is NOT extra extra sharp. But it is extra sharp.... in a delicious way. Very smooth texture and cuts densely with a sharp knife - on the classy end for texture. The flavor is crisp/clean/cheesy and thus sharp. I was surprised as it was not a brand name I'd had luck with in the past. I will definately use it from now on, though ... very good cheese!

For a lactose intolerant person to be able to eat cheddar cheese without having to take anything to process it it's amazing. Cheddar cheese is my favorite and for a very long time I've had to be careful when eating it even after taking my lactase enzime supplement.

I have purchased this 8 oz Cabot Creamery Seriously Sharp Cheddar cheese block several times and it never disappoints. It is super creamy and taste. Amazing! It is lactose free and has a unique flavor. It is perfect for snacks, platters, and so many other things. I use it mainly for baking as it makes a fine dip, and this great added to soups and casseroles. I will definitely be purchasing it again.

The very best when you want a very rich sharp cheddar! perfect for any dish or eating a chunk of it! No other brand compares ! It is a little pricey but well worth it. Give it a try melted on a slice of toast! or diced into a salad, melt it over top of a burrito.. the dishes are endless

I literally cannot have cheese and crackers without this cheese. The hunter's sharp is incredible and so rich. I am creating a Mac and Cheese recipe because I think this cheese will elevate my old standby quite a bit. I have used it on an egg and cheese sandwich, and the melt is ideal so I imagine this will also make an incredible grilled cheese sandwich as well. Looking forward to buying again so I can experiment!

I recently found out I like really sharp cheese. This hits the spot. I was getting the great value one but it seems they no longer make it. I like it better than the ‘better goods' brand. Easy to cut up. I can keep it in the fridge cut up for a good amount before going bad.

I also deemed it because it's wet when I opened the case.She should be kept dry ish.. i love sharp cheese, and I use it with many things.Whether for sandwiches or just to have on crackers or plain in my spaghetti , in my pierogies. it takes a little bit longer to melt , but if you keep your burner on a lower setting while doing your grilled cheese , it will melt put a lid on it.

I've been buying this cheese for a long time and a couple of weeks ago I ordered it and when I went to use it a few days later it was molded and I had to throw it away. I checked the "use by" date and it was in February. I just received my order and decided to check it and it has the same "use by" date in February as well. This is 3 months past the use by date.
