Cafe Cdd420p 24" Wide Double Drawer Dishwasher - Stainless Steel / Brushed Stainless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The double drawer option is wonderful. If you have one load ready, you can wash it while adding dishes to the other drawer very convenient. The quality and overall look is exceptional. Noise levels are very minimal. My opinion is one of the best products on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet as a mouse. This is our second two-drawer dishwasher. The first one lasted twenty years (quite an accomplishment in today's standards and we never had a repair call). Love the ease of not having to bend to put the dishes and silverware in, it just makes the whole process easier to manage. The quietness is a welcome surprise since the first model did have some noise to contend with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a single or small family, this is a perfect solution. Having 2 drawers is very convenient.for loading a second set of dishes if one drawer Is washing, or has not been emptied. Regular dishpods do not fit. You have to use liquid.

We went with the 2 drawer dishwasher. We like the flexibility as empty nesters we tend to load the upper drawer and run every other day. It is quiet - we do not rinse before hand and it cleans the dishes really well. We purchased to GE Cafe Matte White - the appliances It are a statement and beautiful in our kitchen!

The menu is weird and the options are lacking. The bottom plastic piece that came with it broke when I attempted to fit it to my space, it was a brittle hard plastic piece you're supposed to snap off to size. The adjustable racks are ok but for some reason, they're awkward to me. After cycle water sits along lip of the drawer sometimes and other times it's dry. Just not one I'd repurchase. I like the easy clean outside and it's very quiet I do prefer the drawer concept over door. It's around the same price as my previous dishwasher of different brand. So overall I'm satisfied but not jazzed…if that makes sense.

I dislike this dishwasher very much. It gets stuck on cycles, doesn't clean the dishes. I was appalled that the insides of the drawers are plastic. Water remains in the bottom of the drawers. The inside is so small that after a family dinner all the dishes did not fit in both drawers. I own 12 GE appliiances and this is the first one that really was very disappointing. I have only had it 2 weeks and had to call for service and I purchased a different model of GE Cafe line dishwasher.

this diswasher is crappy in quality. only less than 2 yrs already not working properly. NOT draining all water out and now the board on top doesn't work so the entire nearly 2k is out the window. I thought Cafes are good brand but this dishwasher is poor in quality. To repair it will cost me as much as a NEW dishwasher from other brands like whirlpool or similar brands. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CRAPPY BRAND OF DISHWASHER.

I dislike the double drawer dishwasher because The inside material is plastic and I much prefer stainless steal. The second reason is that it loads less than the single door dishwasher. I have it since October 15th 2024 If it were possible I would trade it for the single door with stainless steal interior. I would even pay some kind of fee to be able to do so. Last problem is that it does not do a good job of cleaning the dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a terrible dishwasher, it runs successfully about 50% of the time, very easy for something to get caught in the spinner, which then doesn't allow for everything to get cleaned. Have to clean out frequently, as it starts to smell very easily. This dishwasher is more work than helpful. But it is aesthetically pleasing.

I posted a 1-star review on this dishwasher a year ago and was told that I wasn't using the dishwasher properly and needed to read the owner's manual. After 4-5 separate maintenance visits, we finally got a replacement dishwasher under warranty. The issues were not user error, the dishwasher was manufactured wrong. I still panic when I hear the beeping at the end of the dishwasher cycle because I'm worried it has broken again and we'll have to go back to hand washing everything for months. Even if we had never had issues with the dishwasher, I still wouldn't like it. We have to use 2x as many dishwasher pods since there are two separate dishwashers, and a lot of my larger pans and casserole dishes don't fit in either drawer. The capacity of each is weird, and I simultaneously feel like there is too much dead space in the drawers and there isn't enough vertical space for larger items. It's also hard to use the side shelves as water doesn't always get to those items depending on what is in the main part. I can't wait to have enough money to get rid of this stupid dishwasher and go back to a normal one.
