Café Refrigeration Counter Depth - No Panel Required Side-By-Side CZS22MP2NS1

I was a bit nervous about getting a smaller refrigerator , however due to the space I went to a counter depth model. I purchased the double oven so thought the cafe would be a nice touch. I have been pleasantly surprised that it has nice space and the solving and drawers are very roomy and flexibility with shelving. Love water on the door and it is not messy. The stainless stays very clean and not a lot of fingerprints. I really am very happy with it.

After 15 years we needed a new frig. I did major research. Went to every store in San Diego that sold refrigerators. Finally decided the Ge Cafe side by side counter depth was the right refrigerator for us. We had to have counter depth. Small kitchen. But we host parties. Had to be configured well enough to hold party food. This refrigerator is perfect. Has really nice drawers that slide easy. A deli drawer and a butter keeper. 2 very important things for me. The freezer will even hold a frozen pizza. It has wire door racks perfect for ice cream bars and butter sticks . And I love the round handles. I think they're called bar handles. The right one has a beautiful copper Cafe logo. Best frig ever. Very quiet.

This refrigerator is very stylish. We bought a counter depth.They are smaller but this one is very well appointed. The drawers slide so nice. Has a Deli drawer and a Butter keeper. Which most refrigerators no longer have. Helps to keep everything organized.The freezer has 2 drawers and really nice wire shelves on the door that bend out. There is even a little shelf above the ice maker. Perfect for ice cream bars. It is made in Kentucky. One of the reason I bought it. Love, Love, Love this refrigerator.

This fridge has drawers in the freezer that does not allow soft freezer items to block the air flow. Our last fridge had no drawers and soft freezer items would block the air flow and that caused our problems to replace it only after 2.5 years.

The side by side is well built with heavy duty shelves and drawers. Stainless steel is heavy gauge and esthetically pleasing. Controls for ice, water and temperature controls well thought out and easy to use. strongly recommend this product.

Had a side by side Profile and upgraded to the Cafe because of great price and better quality. The overall capacity is adequate but slightly smaller. Was able to use the beverage rack from the old Profile in the Cafe which was not an option on the Cafe. My only issue is the Ice/Water panel is hard to read. The lettering font and boldness is too small and difficult to read. It would be a benefit if the LED lighting would include the various options. Overall, very nice design and satisfied with the Fridge!

So far it is great refrigerator . On the design , I love the three drawers all together at the lower portion of the refrigerator . However, I don't fall ct the shelves that move for bigger taller bottles , I would have liked more sfos d for milk gallons juice or wine .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part, the unit is great. But there are two concerns. First, the fridge tilts backwards to a signifcant degree. I'm on my second unit and both had the same issue. The insaller told me it was a consistent problem with this model and a lot of customers return the model for that reason. I had to use a piece of wood to prop the backside up just to make the fridge stand straight with no backward tilt. Also, the ice dispenser is a problem. The dispenser hole is so wide that if you use a standard glass or cup ice will fall out around the side of the glass. The problem is amplified if you try and dispense crushed ice. The crushed ice just sprays everywhere. The only way to prevent ice from spraying out everywhere is to use a glass with an extra large opening, like a beer stein, that can encompass the entire dispenser opening. I didn't have that problem with the ice dispenser on my Whirlpool side-by-side.

We've had the side by side less than two years and the electrical control panel appears broken. Depending on the cost of repairs we may consider purchasing a different brand as this is very disappointing and not what we expected from this higher brand more expensive appliance.

We were very disappointed with the refrigerator, the outside water/ice area had a cheap cover, the display is dark, with no lights. Overall we expected more from the Cafe line of appliances.
