[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Operates really well, and is so quiet we never know whether it's running or not. Haven't had any issues of things being dirty after a cycle. Capacity is excellent - never have to run more than one cycle a day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love how quiet it is. Not sure on run times ,will keep looking . Just doing first load now but on China for my expensive glass wear been running a little over two hours so not sure what the China setting is. But it's a beautiful machine . I will do another in the next few weeks to see how it does.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super nice looking! Just installed . Doing first load of glasses using the China cycle it's been two hours not sure how long it's going to take didn't see what the norm is. Super quiet. Love that . Will revisit after week let you how it goes. I have so much glass wear the China setting was a must.
Had no complaints except the cycles are pretty long 4 hours until the 3 year mark hit. We've had 5 repairs on it, thank god we have the extended warranty. The repair person after his 4th visit confided to us, that he has to repair these a lot, they have a lot of issues and it's poor quality, doesn't last. I maintain it using the recommended care including cleaning the filter out weekly. After 3 years: 1. Brown spots leaking onto my floor 2. Doesn't dry completely, must hand wipe everything. 3. 1 of 5 loads doesn't clean at all 4. Despite multiple repairs, doesn't fix 5. Very loud noise now despite several repairs and part replacements
Lasted a little over 2 years and now we can't even get it to run. Had 3 parts replaced and finally the repair man said he couldn't fix it and left after 4 separate visits.
The dishwasher has gone through two pumps. Two complete lower racks. Two silver ware racks. Multiple wheels and rollers have melted. Now the 2nd lower arm has melted, the lower Mesh cover has melted and cracked. I am out of warranty. I have spent more money in service fees and replacement parts than what the thing cost new. Please avoid the cafe dish washers at all costs. They look pretty but are completely unreliable and really are poorly made and hate to say it just junk. These should last many years with no issue, not issue after issue every few months.
It is faster to wash your dishes by hand! This dishwasher is terrible - I have to wash my dishes all over again after emptying the machine. For starters, when you load the silverware, you have to be careful to point them all inwards or they will hit the side preventing you from closing the rack...terrible design!! This thing doesn't clean - even on the longest setting, the hottest water and pre-washing the dishes. Terrible machine! I will never buy this brand again!
We have had this dishwasher for 4 years and have had to replace 4 parts. The sprayer arm broke and was getting caught on the heating element. One of the bottom rack wheels has become dislodged and is constantly falling off. The pull at the front of the bottom rack has also broken off and falls off every time we pull up on it when moving the rack. And now, we have found that a gasket under the unit has been leaking long enough that it pooled and began dripping through the subfloor into our basement. We are not yet aware of how much damage this has caused. Why is there not a drip tray on this unit? Every Cafe appliance we purchased has had at least one issue within the first 2 years and it is becoming exponential. We are extrememly dissatisfied given the cost of these appliances.
I have been waiting to leave a review because I was hoping that the issues would be resolved. We finally had a GE Service tech come out to hopefully fix what we thought had to be an installation issue, however it's just the way the dishwasher is designed. The way it cleans is great. Dishes always come out clean. The dishes are usually still pretty wet when finished, but we never use the ultra dry, so that could be the issue. The real problem we have is the bottom rack. First, when pulling the bottom rack out you have to pretty much lift it up over the edge. It does not smoothly move. We thought that it was off balance or something, but no, it's apparently designed that way so if you have a full load in the dishwasher it won't come off the front. It's like it needs bigger wheels or something! It's beyond frustrating because it always falls off and the dishes are always moving around in the bottom. There are only 4 racks (not sure what they are called) so the dishes are not securely in place.
This is one of the worst dishwashers on the market. It was installed in July 2021 in a new build home and is rusting on the door hinges, the front "stainless steel" is rusting, the dishrack coating has entirely degraded and is also breaking down and rusting. Horribly quality product.
