[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new refrigerator and that only doesn't look sharp and slick in my new kitchen but I love the features of the water and the crushed the cube eyes how it tells me how it has hot water and the spacious inside I highly recommend I'm so happy with
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, this refrigerator works very well for us. I was a bit surprised with the ice container that seemed a bit small compared to the one I had in another fridge. However, there is much more room available without a larger box. The chrome handles are much easier to keep clean and handle.
Amazing fridge! They don't make em like they used to!!! However they do a good job on this fridge. As a repair tech I love working on this fridge it's #1 and my wife lives all the different compartments and settings and it's compact enough for our kitchen…also super Easy to clean and replace any broken parts. Love it !!!😍
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are enjoying our new refrigerator very much. It has a good capacity for our household. The ice maker makes plenty of ice for us. It is a very quiet appliance and the temperature is consistent The lighting inside is really bright and nice. We are enjoying our new GE Cafe refrigerator.
the first one I received was a nightmare and they reordered it for me. I received it 2 weeks later and I do like it however don't like that they did set it up for me. my husband out of town so I waited 2 days for him to come home. don't like I can't get the blue wrapping of around the water dispenser. still working on it but don' t want to scratch it.
This refrigerator is not very deep. There's not a lot of storage so when we went from our old fridge to this one, it was crowded and sloppy looking. The bins are not deep enough for the vegetables either. We are used to a larger space. Otherwise, it looks nice and I will like the hot water dispenser.
Overall, The refrigerator and freezer perform well. I don't use the connectivity feature, but it's nice to have. When we received our new refrigerator, we had to carefully remove the blue plastic covering all metallic surfaces. It was impossible to remove all of the blue plastic as it was stuck in all of the metal joint surfaces. It took me 8 hours to meticulously pull out the blue plastic from these joints. I had to actually use toothpicks and dental floss picks and thin needles with a hammer to create the necessary gap to pull all the plastic out of these joints. This is a major design flaw that created headaches for my wife and I. It took days to remove all signs of the blue plastic. For this reason, I would never buy this model or brand again. Please consider a design change for protecting your metal surfaces during transit. Thank you and good luck.
Does not meet expectations for a refrigerator at this price point. In fact, the quality and performance issues I've had makes me want to shy away from Cafe refrigerators (I have the range and dishwasher as well and they are working fine). WIthin 2 years time, the motherboard / computer board failed one and needed replacement, and twice there was a refrigerant leak. I can get better looking fridges with similar functionality for almost half the price. One positive is GE's warranty program, though, which is better and longer than the average.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really used to LOVE my GE Cafe' Refrigerator. I love the water and ice in the door, I love the size, I love the adjustable shelving. However, after not quite 5 years, the refrigerator had compressor issues and was leaking coolant and would not hold it's temperature in the refrigeration and freezer compartments. We lost food, we also lost trust. We called a repair company only to find out they could not fix this issue and we had to call GE Bodewell. It took WEEKS to get a service person to come out and when they did, it was to tell us that he had to order the parts, which took WEEKS. Then, when the parts came in, it took WEEKS for them to come back. Only then to find out the appliance was unrepairable. Good for us, I GUESS, since they did replace it for free as the compressor/cooling system was under warranty. What happened to GE quality? What happened to an appliance lasting more than 5 years?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our refrigerator is less than 3 years old and the cooling system is bad, not sensors, boards, fans or computers but an actual leak. We do not have a GE service tech in our area so basically no warranty coverage. They should not be allowed to sell appliances where they will not warranty them. If you find one of their affiliate contractor companies that are certified you must pay out of pocket and then have it approved by GE and then you might be reimbursed. (I doubt that ever happens) All of our Major Kitchen appliances are GE Cafe. I would not buy again.
