Like a strong French Roast with a warm, nutty flavor twist. If you love dark roast coffees and want a little change-up in the flavor profile, give this old time classic a try. It comes as close as it gets to the coffee served in the Cafe itself. Wish I could buy this in 55 gallon drums it's so good!

I like the chicory taste in this. It has such a rich and flavorful brew without being bitter. If you like strong coffee that is both rich and mild, this is the one. As someone who uses too much flavored and sweetened creamer, this is one coffee I can take with just a little cream and no sugar. I sometimes practice a ketogenic diet and this is one of just a few coffees that make for good bulletproof brew.

Love New Orleans coffee

I first enjoyed this coffee in New Orleans and it has become one of my favorites. The chicory gives it a unique taste and it is delicious with steamed milk or a splash of whipped cream. It normally retails for more than $10 at a regular grocery store so I this purchase was a bargain.

Coffee is good but why pay a premium for the brand "Cafe du Monde" when there are as good coffee with chicory alternatives that are much cheaper.

it's the type of coffee recommended if you like a rich, deep woodsy taste. it's not like having folgers or taster's choice. this is a little more on the gourmet side. it's too heavy on my stomach with non-dairy creamer so I'm backing off from time to time. I don't recommend this if you're sensitive to dark coffee. I work nights so this kind of coffee upset my stomach. I'm going back to the usual one I drink. I bought this for my aunt who's visiting from france and likes coffee with chicory.

This would've been a joy to my father considering he loves this type of coffee from New Orleans but when it finally got to my house, it was dented in half and this overall worse a terrible thing and to return it and then ask for another one which would be another 10 to 12 days which my father does not have.
