This is one of the best coffees I've ever tried and believe me, I have tried many of them, different brands, different regions and different blends, but Borbone coffee in any of its lines are really good, but this ORO at least for me is the best of all. Aroma, consistency, body, real coffee flavor and delicious taste until the last drop!

The Borbone Red Blend is the collection of coffee beans that are robust and full of flavor and energy! Compared to the gold this coffee bean is a little more boulder and a little stronger, but it is absolutely delicious! I have been having fun mixing the two red and gold beans together and getting a different flavor profile! I believe I have found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with this company! Everything is top drawer from the way they take your order, the way they ship your order, and the final experience of those delicious coffee beans they offer! If you know how real Espresso should taste, I mean the one you can drink in a normal bar in italy not the pseudo double shot (really what does it means?) you can have at your fancy Star***ks this is what you are looking go, Gold or Red beans are the best, usually ask friends or family to ship me this beans from Italy, I'm glad I can find the here also. I have been looking for ""that coffee "". Strong coffee taste, not looking for fruitiness. This is it! Made in my French Press (pinch of kosher salt added). Perfect roast. Can't wait to try with different brew methods (percolator, drip, aeropress). I think it would be great to infuse tequila or vodka with it also. Life changer! LOL!

Like the previous reviewer, I had my first cup of Caffe Borbone Bleu while in Napoli. I found it hard to believe that espresso could be this smooth and have secondary notes of flavor. Not in the US anyway. I even reached out to James Hoffman to ask if he'd heard of it or tried it. I just needed an expert opinion. I don't understand why coffee drinkers in the southern states are okay with burned, bitter espresso? At any rate, for me and mine, this is as good as it gets. Ciao
