Cake Circles by Celebrate It®

I bake cakes and other pastries for various occasions and can typically find larger rounds at grocery stores, but smaller rounds, not so much. I don't know what's more wasteful, having a cake round too large for the pastry or needing to cut a larger one down to get the right size. Leave it to Michaels to stock just what I needed. These sturdy rounds are the right size at the right price.

We used the cake circles for the bases of raffle baskets. They worked wonderfully! Sturdy and strong. Looked nice too!

Super sturdy cake bases. Used some for displaying cakes but used most for making a snowman's hat craft along with a DT cookie tin.

Like others, I have purchased this product in the past with no problems but the last set I ordered when opened was warped and there is nothing you can do to make them lie flat. I thought it was a fluke until I read where others have experienced the same thing!

The first two boards I used from the pack were fine, sturdy, grease resistant, flat. However after a few months when I needed to use it again today, all the rest of the boards were warped into a saddle or prinkles chip shape. I tried heating it up to reshape it, putting it under some weights to flatten it, bending it the opposite direction, none of which worked. I can't use these boards because I'm making a tiered cake and must have each layer lay flat. Didn't think that'd a be a problem because of the lack of quality from the boards! Now I have to find new boards overnight. Very disappointing

So, I'm shopping for cake boards, having bought these 10" boards before, but I'm not too fond of the current price, so I'm hunting for other choices. In doing so, I'm reading reviews, including the reviews for this Celebrate brand here. As I read it hits me, I'm not alone in experiencing these boards warping. I thought it was me, maybe storing them on edge was wrong, but apparently not. These boards warp wicked bad. Another reviewer described it like a Pringles potato chip and that is spot on. Another reviewer said they placed heavy objects on the boards to try to flatten them out, and it didn't work...same for me. I stacked heavy roasting pans and frying pans on them and it didn't matter, the boards were still warped. On the surface warped boards may seem like no big deal, but when you place your cake on a warped board it slides off, and that warped board can slide off your regular plate, and when cutting the cake on the warped board it slides off. All that said, now knowing this warping is not a one-off it only happens to me situation, I will never purchase these boards again, nor will I recommend them.

Bought a whole package of the rounds. Every single one in the package was so warped that they were unusable. The actual cardboards were decent for the price. But the extreme warp was crazy. Unfortunately I bought them ahead of time so too late to return by the time I realized they could not be straightened . Whole package in to trash.
