Not as good as great value organic. Our store used to have great value organic romaine heart, which is fresh and crisp. This brand is relatively old and dry taste.
Ones again it arrived expired, old %26 bad quality. Three times failed attempt trying to retrieve my money back.
I ordered the Walmart brand organic Romain lettuce, which is always 3 full and robust of fresh Romain lettuce that is crispy and delicious. this brand is 3 scrawny limp heads that were picked over 2 weeks ago. very disappointed. if this is what I get the next time, I will no longer buy it from Walmart.
I was horrified by the amount of flies/insects whatever was in the lettuces. They did not die at all even though they were in the fridge for several days. I was surprised as they came out from the leaves when I was trying to wash them. This was a substitute item for the lettuces that I initially ordered. I don't know if you should expect to see insects in the lettuces when it comes to organic, but I never had to encounter them even though I bought organic lettuces several times. This was my first time with this particular brand, but I saw at least ten insects in it. Whether or not they are edible, it is just too gross for me. I would not order this ever again.
Disgusting!! Brown %26 infested with bugs!! Organic alright!?! Tired of getting such poor quality! May start shopping Kroger! This is happening on a regular with Walmart. I order minimum of over $200. Weekly, not investing my time %26 money in this convenience only to get compost!!
The romaine ended up in the garbage. There were yellow/tan spots all over the leaves. I would likely a refund. Also, I had to drive back to the store 5 or 6 bags that were not in my order: apple juice, apple sauce, and various goodies that looked like a nursery school order.
ALL of the produce ordred from Walmart is rotten, black and has bugs in it! Very unhappy with customer service who demands that we walk to a store and return bug-filled produce.
I did a pick up order and thought I was buying a better quality product. VERY DISAPPOINTED that the shopper could not see that most of the lettuce was rotten on edges. I thought I could trim it up and still use it but it was even worse inside. The expiration date was the day of my pick up order. Wow! Thanks a lot for the “help.”
After chopping, washing %26 spinning dry, almost finished with the salad, this is what we found! To make matters worse, it was the last of the bunch of three. There's no way of knowing how much hair we ingested.
This was substituted for the Romaine lettuce I actually ordered. Terrible, completely wilted, very small lettuce hearts, filthy with dirt and bugs. Do not buy this product ever!!!! Not fit for human consumption.
