I am familiar with the HOT ROD because I have used and thoroughly enjoyed the using it so I had gotten another one so over the course of a few years, I have purchased again as the sleeves had aged through normal wear and tear. The original I liked so much that I bought the exact one again and again. When I learn there was a HOT ROD XL and also a HOT ROD EXTREME, well I just had to get the extreme since the original only covered about half of my shaft length, thinking that the extreme would cover more of my length I just had to get it. After trying the extreme I immediately noticed the firmness was not the same, it was too easy to stretch it over my fist, was very flimsy, after putting it on, it didn't squeeze or hold my shaft firmly at all. The only thing that kept it in place was it excessive stickiness I can't seem to wash off with soap. This HOT ROD EXTREME didn't do what the description stated or what the original did, very disappointed. I may attempt to get the original one online and if it's like the one I enjoyed I plan on buying a second one so I could get the shaft coverage I've been looking for.
