That extra something for anything cinnamon or apple related! It something out of nothing treating you to luxury beyond it's price point.

Looks better than it tastes
This tastes like when you follow a recipe for a baked good that calls for 1 tablespoon of salt, you put in 1 tablespoon of salt, and you taste it afterwards and it tastes weird. You look at the recipe again and it actually says '1 teaspoon'. That encapsulates the taste of this box mix - it's good for the first few seconds and then the overwhelming taste of salt hits you. Even with unsalted butter and fresh apples it's just way too salty.
