California Air Tools 10020C Ultra Quiet Oil Free Powerful Air Compressor

received in excellent condition packed very well, no leaks worked well out of the box, is quiet, fills fast and this was the best price i have seen this item for at least a year.

Great unit that's super quite and does the job it has the ability to run efficiently a Thermodynamics cut master 39 awesome little unit

I've used the product the some time and it great like advertised. The only complaint is that air leaked out of one of the threaded joints. It going to take some time to disassemble to add some thread Teflon.

Not much more to day - works great!

Overall nice compressor. One of the hoses from the tank to the regulator leaked terribly. Obviously was not checked prior to shipping. Cut damaged hose portion and resent in holder. Sealed fine after this. Bolts for attaching the wheels were of different style and length. Had to make a bushing to use existing hardware. Details are not paid attention to. Compressor is incredibly quiet and charges quickly. Once the "details" were resolved, it is a very good product. A closer eye during manufacturing would have helped. I am quite pleased with the end product and would recommend to anyone wanting a super quiet, high performance compressor ... might have to correct a couple of things first :)

Been on vacation. Just opened the box. Both wheels are broken off. Obviously been hit on something hard. What do I need to do?

I bought this compressor based on positive reviews and the factory video that shows how quiet it is. Purchased on sale for $275 which is as cheap as you can find. Was delivered to store (Walmart) and I picked it up from there. Got home, unpackaged it and proceeded to assemble it. It comes assembled minus the wheels, feet, and filters. Got it set up and turned it on. It was very quiet but i noticed the compressor shut off in a few seconds. It kept coming on and off every 5 seconds or so. I turned it off to check all the fittings and lines. All was well so i retried it. It still kept cycling on/off and never built up pressure. I messed with it for an hour and gave up. I returned it to the store. I was excited to get this compressor but then was disappointed it didnt work. I am a QC Engineer and this product would have never left my area without verifying it works. I would not recommend unless you verify it is working. Returning large items is a pain.

Delivered with a broken wheel and I contacted customer service. No response for over a week.

It's 220V not 110v, failed to work at all.

Beautiful concept! Very Quiet! Absolutely loved it for 13 months... Then it crapped out one month after the warranty expired! As I work with expert electrical trades, they confirmed the motor had failed internally. This was 1 month after the 12 month warranty expired. I contacted California Air Tools and was told it was out of warranty and that they would sell me the parts to fix it if I had a "Qualified" service center re-diagnose the problem. This is not acceptable customer service. We elected to disassemble the motor out selves and replace the failed thermal switch. I won't buy another nor will I recommend one to anybody.
