These sheets are fantastic. They felt amazing and on these hot humid iowa nights they kept me cool. They have a nice silky feel to them and after washing there was no pilling and all seams were still intact. I dried them on the clothes line instead of the dryer and they were still nice and soft. It came with 2 extra pillow cases which is great and better than what you get buying a standard set. The fitted sheet fit nicely around my mattress and hasn’t slipped. For reference I have a 14.50 inch mattress.

I am very picky about the sheets I put on my bed. I am very impressed and pleased with these. The sheets are very soft and breathable and feel comfortable against my skin. I love the deep pockets that fit over my mattress perfectly. I also appreciated the little tag saying head or foot for placement! The pillowcases fit my large pillows with ease. Best of all, my sheets continue to look brand new after washing. In the future, I will buy more. Highly recommended.

These sheets have been very nice. I like to sleep cool/cold. My bed likes to retain heat. I normally only sleep with a sheet, even in the winter, while my wife is under 3-4 blankets/comforter. I have been sleeping very comfortable and waking up refreshed using these. She said the same thing. It said to wash them before using, so we did. They are very soft and fit our queen bed perfectly. Quality looks very nice and appears durable as well. It's only been a few days, and I will continue to use them, but they have been great so far.

Sorry for the long review, but when you have a lot to say, it is usually a good thing. And one note…this is not my first set of sheets from this company. For years I have looked for sheets I would love, and finally I think I have found them. First, I can not stand microfiber sheets as I get pretty hot when I sleep, and once I took a moment to read about how bad they are for the environment I just had to avoid them. Polyester sheets are even worse. Who wants to breathe in carcinogens when you sleep? These sheets, from California Design Den, are 100 percent long staple cotton. FYI short staple cotton, like Upland cotton, is a shorter fiber and used in things like denim and flannel because it is soft and strong. Long staple cotton makes up a much smaller percentage of cotton grown in the US and has a much more lux feel (think Egyptian and Pima cottons). A longer fiber results in a smoother fabric surface and a softer, silkier feel. Of course, being a natural fiber, cotton has some downsides. It is biodegradable-which is a good thing- but it will be prone to wear over time. I really think we need to get over the idea that a set of sheets will last forever! If a set of sheets lasts a few to several years it had done its duty! Also, these sheets will be prone to wrinkles. While I have an aunt that insists on ironing her sheets, I am much to lazy to do that, but the option is yours. This Queen sheet set comes with one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and 4 standard pillowcases. I love that it has 4 pillowcases and not just the standard 2. A small detail, but one I love. As I said before, I get very hot when I sleep. This may be too much information for some but I am in the throes of Menopause and these sheets are a game changer. I love that cotton sheets are breathable and they do not trap heat next to my body. They also help wick away moisture when I sleep. Some women will totally understand how much it means to have sheets that makes us more comfortable when our bodies are changing in crazy ways. I actually prefer to use the same sheets year around and just change the cover on top. In summer I use a soft, thin blanket and in winter I use a down duvet. No matter when I crawl into these sheets they are soft, cozy, and smell like my favorite detergent and fabric softener. I know fabric softener increases wear, but I love the way my sheets feel and smell. These sheets easily fit my deep mattress, and they are well sewn. I have not had a problem with them ripping as I stretch them over the mattress, which has been a problem with other cotton sheets. Honestly, when I took these out of the package I knew I had found what I was looking for. The packaging is thin cardboard (made of 100 percent recycled material) and NOT PLASTIC. The sheets themselves were wrapped in tissue paper and NOT PLASTIC. They felt soft and fresh right out of the package and have only gotten better. I have moved these to the top of my lists when I am looking for wedding gifts, or gifts for my friend’s kids that are going off to college. I no longer spend ages on line reading reviews about sheets and thinking if I spend a lot of money I might get my set of dream sheets. I am done wasting time. These sheets are the bomb. Great quality, great price. What more do you need?

I loved that this sheet set came with 4 pillow cases! I've never had that as an option before and it was wonderful to be able to have matching pillow cases on all of my bed pillows! These sheets were also very comfortable and washed up very nice and soft. Definitely wash them before using them and follow the directions about not over drying them. These sheets feel substantial and like they will last a long time. Many sheet sets I've bought in the past have have felt very thin and these have a nice heft to them. Thank you for this.

I used this set for my son who is autistic and very sensitive to anything that is too stiff or not well made when it comes to sheets. These sheets passed the test. Cool enough in the summer to use with the top sheet and warm enough when it's cold to snuggle with your comforter over. Easy to wash. Didn't shrink or pill or snag. Easy to put on bed. Didn't have to yank to get over the corners. Made the bed look nice and sheets are soft after a good wash. Seem very durable.

Fit a deep mattress and are soft!

The sheets felt pretty soft and smooth when taking them out of the package. Wash them and dried them exactly in according to the instructions. but they were quite a bit rougher and lost that smoothness after I took them out of the dryer. hoping some repeated washings with softener will help they're definitely not as breathable as a sateen finish

You can never go wrong with a California Den Design sheets. Love the quality of the sheets. My only problem is how Walmart delivers your product. Instead of delivering it to your door, they just placed it beside the ground stairs leading to our apartment in the 3rd floor. Anyone could have taken it and we would not be able to know at all. Poor delivery service. I would have to rethink if I will order from Walmart if it involves delivery. I had 5 different delivery from Walmart on the same day. And all 5 did the same.
