I purchased this product for a viral infection. I can't say whether it helped or not. But to be fair, I started to take it a few days into the infection--not at the very first sign of symptoms! I will say that I had no respiratory distress, or any problem that required urgent medical attention. Andrographis, the herb, can be extremely bitter. However, these tablets are tasteless. Don't let them sit in your mouth or chew on them, though! Have water or a beverage ready, and quickly swallow the tablet down with a mouthful of the liquid. I have taken andrographis before, different brands, and as capsules and tablets; without exception, they were all bitter. This is the first one that's tasteless!
